We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great. We stayed in two rooms. One was new, but small. The other was bigger with no view. The breakfast was really nice. Lots of good options. The hotel is kind of out of the way of the main things to see in Amman, but uber worked great and was a good deal. Don’t use taxis, they’ll scam you. We learned the hard way. All is all we’d stay again.

The rapidly expanding Jordanian capital, Amman is an economic powerhouse spread over various hills. Atop one sits the Citadel, containing remains of the Roman Temple of Hercules, a Byzantine church and an 8th-century mosque and palace.
Also here is the Jordan Archaeological Museum, and at the foot of the hill is a Roman theatre, part built in the rock. Modern housing blocks surround it, but the most avant-garde architecture is in the developing Al Abdali business district.
The tallest Amman structures will be the Jordan Gate Towers and will house one of the city’s high-rise hotels. International brands of restaurants and bar can be found alongside more traditional cuisine in Amman, and many eateries are in the large Mecca Mall and Grand City Mall, which also has a cinema.
Nearby is the desert-like vegetation of Al Hussein National Park, and the Royal Automobile Museum which features cars of King Hussein, ruler for over 40 years and after whom are named city sights such as the King Hussein Business Park and mosque. The King Abdullah I Mosque has a beautiful blue dome, while Abu Darweesh Mosque at Amman’s highest point is a striking black-and-white structure.
Booking.com’s Amman accommodation includes 5-star hotels, apartments in the embassy district, and cheap hostels, all within easy reach of Queen Alia Airport.
A great 10 day holiday. We hired a car and drove to Jerash,Madaba,Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba. We then drove back to Amman to leave. Amman was a lovely safe city. The people were so friendly and eager to help in any way. They were so welcoming to tourists.

The Sandra Hotel is a brilliant place to stay for the adventurous. Right in the heart of downtown Amman amidst the exciting hubbub of daily life. Amjad couldn't have been more helpful in advising on the best places to see and eat plus he's able to sort out trips for you to the rest of Jordan. Saber took me to Petra and other places en route and couldn't have been a better guide and companion.

Amman is a beautiful and safe city were history gather with modern vibes along friendly and generous local people and delicious food every where from tradition Mansaf , Shawrma , Kunafa to steaks and western cousins.
very nice weather specially in summer.
its a uniquid combination that you cant get only in big historic cities like Cairo , Damascus and Baghdad, etc.., its much smaller in dimensions but give that sense of History , warm, genericity and friendly people.
City has many historic sites to visit , nice modern malls fill with all brands , amazing food and restaurants ( will recommend أوسطا لحم) best meet Shawrma in world , Habbibah and best Kunafa in the planet.
will recommend visiting Boulevard street , Jubran Cafe ,
you will love the city and you will willing to revisit again

Amman is a bustling city.
Amman is a bustling city. There's plenty to see, & many nice quiet gardens are dotted around the place. The people are most welcoming to visitors.
The Ampitheatre is unmissable for those who appreciate antiquities.
Some very nice restaurants in the 'Downtown' area, all very reasonably priced.
Amman is only an hour or so from The Dead Sea, but I would personally recommend at least three days at a resort, of which there are a good choice.

My stay at the Jawad hotel was exceptional, my room was very clean with a high quality of furnishings, also a city view of the bustling streets below.
The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area, and is easy walking distance from the major historical sights of Amman.
Mohmmed on reception sent me a WhatsApp on arrival, with detailed information regarding local restaurants, currency exchange ect.
They can also provide itinerary packages for onward travel around Jordan if required.
The location, bed, wifi connection, the price were the only good things during our accommodation and to a certain extent the breakfast as well. Prior to our arrival to Amman we booked this hotel in two parts the first part was for 4 nights and continued our journey to Aqaba and booked the same hotel for the last 2 nights, as our flight was from Amman. This was all done prior to our arrival to Jordan, so we had no real insight of the hotel - only the photos and the reviews.
Farah Hotel.. Thanks to this hotel, we spent our best time in Jordan! The staff are so kind, helpful and cheerful, they welcomed us in the best way and made our comfy in any aspect. It was a truly amazing experience with Farah hotel. I strongly suggest staying here and meeting with the personnel of this hotel. Everything is just nearby, walking distance and easy to find from any part of Amman. Thanks a lot for hosting here, hope to see you again!
The Sandra hotel is ideally located in Amman close to the Jordan museum and downtown walking area. The staff Hadi and the other staff were super friendly, helpful and assisted with everything I asked. The room was comfortable, clean and I enjoyed it so much I stayed again after my trip to Petra and Wadi rum which again they were very accommodating.
My first time in Jordan and I was exceptionally surprised by the service provided in this hotel. I will definitely return to Amman and book in New Merryland. It is 20 min walking distance from the Abdalai Boulevard and the Downtown.
