What a wonderful place with a lovely family. Thank you so much for this experience. It’s a very old and traditional Japanese wood house. We enjoyed our stay. It gave us "Ghibli vibes". Unfortunately we had to leave one day earlier than planned because of some health issues. Luckily the host called for us a local doctor and made an appointment for me. And we got our missed night refunded without us even asking! I can’t thank you enough. Such good people. We will definitely come again one day!

This Hotel was an unexpected find. Very comfortable and spacious room and very accommodating staff. This is a good base to make day trips to Ise and further south .

Very good value for money and breakfast was excellent. Large parking area. Bed was comfortable and shower great.
This is a business hotel so for the price don't expect big bells and whistles but it is comfortable, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
There is a choice of smoking and non smoking rooms.

We styed one night at the hotel. Overall the hotel is bit dated, but the room was clean and futon were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Lots of choices. Calm location. We enjoyed the onsen.

We had a great stay at Kii no Matsushima. The host was incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing. We arrived after dark in the town from our hiking trip and she waited for us in the car along the path to pick us up. Next day she even prepared a small lunch for us to take on our hike. Highly recommended!
