It is a near the port and some tourist attractions are walkable like Lord Goto’s Residence (Castle Ruins). There is also a free parking for your car. Staffs are nice. Room is spacious and clean. Not a typical room like in any of the hotels we have been in.

Very conveniently located hotel nearby the pier and airport bus stop, basic accommodations but very clean and all of the very basic necessities. A good option if you’re optimizing for something affordable over comfort.

The seaside location and the ocean front view from the room was fantastic. The general layout and design of the bathroom (including the exterior onsen), and the materials used was excellent; it conveyed upscale quality worthy of a boutique hotel at the price point it was charging. The interior decoration and choice of furnishings conveyed a serene sense of Japanese luxury. All in all, the hotel rooms exceeded my expectations.

Great location right on the beach, and you can rent bikes from the front desk (sadly it was pouring rain while I was there). I enjoyed just sitting looking out at the water as the storm passed by. Nice onsen!

The staff was just dynamite, the style of the hotel was very clean and modern. The bike they rented to me was affordable and good. And by the way, the name is just so telling, just up my alley!

Its an industrial town - not a city - and wonderful as a...
Its an industrial town - not a city - and wonderful as a place to stay and as a stepping point for ferries to the islands. Rent a car and explore the island. Also the town museum is fantastic - its GOTO movie is wonderful. Everything you need is within easy walk and people are friendly although few speak English (take a mobile phone translator). Its very very Japanese which you expect but for some Westerners it might be a little challenging. the Tourist Office at the Port is exceptional.
