Hiroshima is an inspirational city, not only has it survived the horrors of the atomic bomb to reinvent itself but the city and its people are dedicated to teaching the rest of the world about the importance of world peace. Every world leader should visit the city's memorials and museums so they realise first hand that this must never be allowed to happen again. We spent a day and a half seeing the sights after visiting Miyajima (must see) and, while we could have stayed longer, I felt this was a perfect amount of time to experience much of what Hiroshima had to offer. Be sure to visit the Shukkien Gardens too - they are gorgeous. Hiroshima is a must visit.
Hiroshima is a must visit. It is confronting to see the absolute devastation caused by the bomb. Despite this, the people of Hiroshima are delightful and the overwhelming atmosphere is one of hope and peace. We will definitely return.Guest review byFiona - Review score8.0

Hiroshima has a lot to offer tourists. The Peace Park is amazing and very poignant. Miyajima is a must see. We found the hotel to be well furnished and the fragrant smell when you walked in was amazing. Green and clean. Well positioned to the Peace Memorial and Shukkien Gardens.
