Standard APA accomodations, but we had a stinky smoking room which was tiny tiny tiny for two people and one tiny bed :/ I think APA does that: they book two people into a "double" then upsell you at the front desk to a bigger room. The rooms were quite spacious, with a decent cooking area and dining room adjacent to the bedroom. We were comfortable on the futons and it was perfectly quiet throughout the night. The onsen was very relaxing after a day of travelling. The half-board was buffet style breakfast and dinner with many choices. The portions are small so we get to try many dishes made with local ingredients, the beef station really stood out as it was very tender and cooked well.
