This was an incredibly clean hotel with amazing amenities as well as its location at the JR Tower could not make it more well placed. The hotel was impeccable in terms of how posh and luxe it was, we truly enjoyed our stay in the heart of nagoya.

The rooms were so tiny we could barely stand, no place to open our luggage in the room.
There was a tiny fridge and it made pretty big noises for it's size, disturbing our sleep. Beds are not comfortable at all.
The breakfast was the worst! Nothing to eat for a western guests. Not even a continental like nice bread. There were 3 slices of tiny dry bread and butter. Everything else was local cuisine.
Located a 5-minute walk from JR Nagoya Train Station, The Royal Park Canvas Nagoya offers free WiFi throughout the property and a high level of security.

Check-in and Check-out is very fast and easy. Room is always cleaned, bottled water is replenished everyday. Kids amenities were provided too. Wasn’t able to check the spa, but so far overall experience is very good.

Convenience of restaurants in the property. You could choose from different types. Parking is in the same building not really part of the hotel however I was rushed by the staff to complete parking handed ticket which I thought I lost then pushed to the side when tried to get my vehicle. I was not told by hotel staff they would validate my parking so it was lots of back and forth.

The location is great, very close to Nagoya station. The room is clean, and both the chair and desk are very comfortable - extra points for providing an office chair as the standard option. However, there could be some improvements with communication and amenities.

This home was absolutely beautiful and so well-thought out. From the sensor lights coming on as you walk around the house to the Nintendos for the kids, it was wonderfully designed and even better than the pictures!

The host was amazing and super helpful finding a rental car for us when most places did not have any availability. She was great at suggesting restaurants and helping us deliver our luggage to our next location. She did that all free of charge too!

It was sakura full bloom season. Must not miss Nagoya Castle, Tsuruma Park for viewing the cherry blossom trees. Heiwa Park is not bad but not so easily accessible. We picnic there. Toyota Commemorative Museum and the nearby AEON mall are worth visiting too. We akso went to Arimatsu to attend a tie-dyeing workshop, which was very enriching.

The Science Center is one of the best we've visited.
The Science Center is one of the best we've visited. We were very impressed. Nagoya airport is also really nice with the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner available to visit up close.
I'm not really a fan of the city overall. The downtown core seems to be geared towards salary men.
We've visit a few times mostly to go to Legoland, and see the 787 airplane exhibit at the airport. Nagoya is a city that's very easy to skip on your trip to Japan.

Although not one of Japan’s best known cities, Nagoya is a gem. Sakae, Higashiyama Park and zoo, Nagoya Castle Park (the plum blossoms are in season now!), and then all the pubs and jazz bars around…what’s there NOT to enjoy?

Very metropolitan but still you can find interesting sites: Aquarium is outstanding, orcas and dauphins training and feeding are must-see. The Castle and Hommaru Palace are worth seeing though everything was rebuilt after WWII destruction. One should appreciate masterpieces of contemporary cratsmen to resume the glory of the past.

I do not recommend Nagoya for women traveling alone.
I do not recommend Nagoya for women traveling alone. Of all the provinces I visited, this was the only one where I felt afraid of men. On every corner, there were groups of men doing nothing but staring at everyone who passed by, with a somewhat predatory attitude. I saw a young woman walking alone, and she was soon approached by one of the men. I noticed that she ignored him until the light turned green so she could cross the street. I ended up walking around the city with my husband the entire time. I was afraid to be away from him.

Nagoya was relatively quieter that Tokyo and Osaka. The Osu Shopping District was more simple and quieter too.. Weather experience was amazing because it was cold and we were prepared for the cold weather.

Amazing value for money! Located pretty close to Nagoya Station. Very good breakfast. The hotel is modern, extremely clean and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. My stay in Nagoya was unexpectedly extended for another night. I did not even think twice as to which hotel to book for the extra night.
1. Relatively affordable.
2. One of the closest hotels to the Meitetsu airport line at Nagoya Station.
3. Near to a few convenience stores.
4. Check in and check out done via machine, with English available as a language option. Fast and efficient.
5. Bathroom large for Japanese standards, with a decent-sized bathtub.
Breakfast is great with Japanese food with some kind of bread. There is a coffee and green tea machine. Anyway, maybe few options for the one who stay long period. There is a van between Nagoya train station and hotel for free. It is so convenience for traveller.
The hotel was very convenient. It has a lot of malls/stores at the basement. It is very close to the train station. If you need to go to the airport this is the perfect hotel. Not that expensive also. Good value for the money and the location.
