The location is stellar. The room was comfortable and spacious with a great view. We enjoyed the bicycles (extra fee).

The property was extremely noisy all day and night. Cars going buy constantly. Its located on a prefectural road that is well travelled all the time. You can also hear all the trains go by as the station is not far. It was so difficult to sleep and not restful. I recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

The owner, Fujiwara, left us wanting for more. He picked us up from the station and gave us a tour of the city, as well as bringing us to a supermarket to get some food for dinner and breakfast the next day. He was incredibly sweet and helpful. The house was beautiful and the city was quiet. We could relax completely. We have nothing else to say but thanks, and we will come back!

Takashima is a wonderful destination, especially for those seeking a peaceful retreat. A highlight of our trip was a charming bakery near the train station. The owner doesn't speak English, but a little Google Translate goes a long way. The bakery is stunning, offering some of the best pastries we've ever had, and my kids loved it too.
Takashima is a quiet and serene place, a refreshing contrast to bustling cities like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. It's perfect for a family getaway to relax and unwind. The lake is absolutely stunning, with fresh air and beautiful blue water

This is a great little town on the shores of Lake beaver.
This is a great little town on the shores of Lake beaver. Behind it is a number of beautiful but easily climbable on mountains. It's a great place to relax. This was my first trip in August and I had to say it was much cooler than the weather that we've been having in the Kansai kill kill area. I will definitely go there again the next time I decide to spend August in Japan.
