We, 4 members of family, are the only guest for two days in the entire hotel.
When we reserve these two days, it showed public bath and a half board per each evening dinners that had not reached my expectation at all on that price of the staying.
The most amazing thing was room condition where I stayed in.

What an incredible spot. The hosts are next level hospitable and communicated with me ahead of time and throughout our stay via Booking.com. We were picked up from the JR train station, and they made us reservation for that evening at a small kaiseki spot and drove us to dinner and asked the chef call us a taxi when we were finished. 6 seats, the chef and the server. It was probably our most memorable meal of the trip. The room is very comfortable and spacious. The hosts prepare you a delicious Japanese style breakfast each morning. The bathroom and bathtub is like having your own private onsen with a spectacular view.

A beautifully renovated wooden house, it feels like living in a fairytale. Very charming and comfortable . A lovely bbq inside the living room, very comfortable beds and an amazing playroom for little kids. Even if it is cold outside, kids will not be bored! The owner was super nice and he made many of the wooden parts himself!
There are plenty of options to enjoy the snow in front of the house ( sledges etc).
