A very nice senior couple operates this guest house. They are both very kind and welcoming. I stayed 5 nights during which time I met three other tourists. The location is a 5 minute walk from the bazaar, and the property is cosy with secure parking for a vehicle and bikes. There was always hot water and the WiFi worked excellently. The breakfast was charming too. I would recommend to all. A very hospitable stay indeed :) Make sure to contact them on WhatsApp before you arrive though.

Room and particularly the bed was very comfy. It is located near a big roundabout but the windows and walls thankfully block all noise, making for a great sleep. No breakfast but there is conveniently a nice Spar supermarket next door. Parking is available for guests.

The host was amazing friendly and the people in the little town of Balakchy were also very friendly. The breakfast was amazing good and huge! The room is well kept and everything is clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Toilet is squat-style toilet in the garden and shared. Balakchy does not have much tourist things, no exchange office, no coffee bar. However, there is a very nice lake where you can swim and the local people are amazing friendly. No English spoken, nowhere in town. Taxi from the busstation is 80 Som or a short walk about 2 kilometers. Area is very quiet, just the birds you hear. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

A welcoming and comfortable guest house. Shared with a lovely family. We were warmly welcomed and learnt a lot about Kygrystan culture and Balykchy. A lovely breakfast, the apricots divine. Community very nice, greeted us as we walked around in the cool of the evening. The location is great, close to local beach. Would have liked to stay longer.
