Set on Saracen Bay in Koh Rong Samloem Island, Pearl Beach Resort & Spa offers accommodation with an infinity pool and a sunken bar just right in front of the beach.

A little gem of a resort. Small and peaceful. Set in amongst the trees, with Hornbills coming to visit. Lovely beach for swimming. Free use of kayaks. Plunge pool on the veranda was a plus. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Restaurants at resorts on Sandy Beach (eg Tubes Resort) 10 mins walk away, for a change of scene and menu. Straightforward to get to Pearl Beach on the GTVC Speedboat ferry service. There is no nightlife, but that is why we chose this resort, not a busier one in Saracen Bay.

Located in Koh Rong Sanloem, just a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach, Beach House Cambodia provides beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, water sports facilities, a garden and free WiFi.

Fabulous location on the beach. Great to be able to use paddleboards and snorkels. Toasties good for lunch. Good to see no plastic bottles. Just a few steps away from the sea and plenty of nice spots to eat in mpai bay.

Lazy Bones has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Koh Rong Sanloem. The accommodation features evening entertainment and free WiFi.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms had aircon, but the beds were oddly positioned. They were very close together (my bed was touching another man's bed and sometimes our feet would touch at night. Just weird). Make sure to bring your own toilet paper. The hostel is run by a lovely man and his beautiful family.

Facing the beachfront, La Passion by Achariyak offers 4-star accommodation in Koh Rong Sanloem and features a garden, terrace and restaurant.

The aesthetic of the hotel was amazing and we loved the pool area and that the resort was right on the beach. The bikes to get around were also really cool and the room was nice. My main criticism is the quality of the food didn’t match the price. The price to eat in the hotel was up to 3x other options nearby, and the food was the worst we had in Cambodia - it’s not terrible but it wasn’t worth the price tag.

The place is a paradise, located in the best spot on the beach, and full of Hammocks, really the best if you are looking to relax. The vibes are great, the staff is also super nice, I felt very welcomed and the chef is amazing, everything I ate there was fantastic.

I loved Paradise Villas on Saracen beach it was the quiet end of the beach. The swimming and relaxing were amazing. The staff and guests are friendly the food great, lots of other restaurants to walk to. You can walk to other beaches or take a boat trip. Very relaxing if you want to get away from it all. The beaches were kept clean and the water was clear lots of fish to see if snorkelling. It's not a party destination. If it's a simple beach holiday you want this is a great destination after rushing around the rest of Cambodia.

Most people here love lying on the beach, and they are everywhere. Instead, I love hiking and there are trails to all of the beaches. Some easy, some challenging. Laguna Resort even has a trail guide if you aren't sure which trail to go on, or if you are worried about getting lost.

I stayed at Mpai Bay, so this review is based on a four night’s stay there with one excursion and independent exploring. Overall, it’s a beautiful island and well worth staying. There’s good snorkelling and swimming all over the island (mostly when taken to prime spots on a boat tour). The restaurants serve a variety of lovely dishes at bargain prices and excursions are really good value. On the downside, there is a lot of rubbish about when you leave the popular areas (discarded and rubbish that has been washed ashore). Sadly, this seems to be the case all over the country.

There are no roads linking the whole island.

There are no roads linking the whole island. If staying in Mpay bay and want to visit other beach or village then a taxi boat at $5/per person each way is needed. $20/couple per day. Saracen beach has roads linking it to Lazy beach and Sunset beach and the Lighthouse. If time permits maybe stay 3 nights Saracen / Sunset Beach, 1 or 2 nights Mpay bay and 3 or 4 nights on Koh Rong island.

    Very relaxing place. Beautiful beach.

Very relaxing place. Beautiful beach. Great and friendly restaurants/pubs, always welcoming. Downfall was the rubbish that was brought in by the sea but left on the beach. Infront of all resorts and restaurants no rubbish as they were obviously cleaned up by workers, but the walk from resort to restaurants there is a section that you have to walk through rubbish.

There is a vast range of accommodation from basic guest houses to luxury resorts. There is great food to match. The beaches on the ocean side of the island are beautiful (Lazy Beach, Sunset Beach). There are signs of roads being developed so it is a good idea to visit before too much development takes place. Most travel is by boat or jungle treking! We also enjoyed snorkelling.

The resort is located by the lagoon a 10-45 min walk from the other hotels on the main beach, which gave the resort a peaceful touch. There is a nice little private stretch of beach just outside the hotel with a pier where you amazingly could be completely alone for the most part! The staff was helpful, easy-going and flexible. The cabins were charming and very close to the lagoon. There was no AC but a pretty quite ceiling fan in the middle of the room just above the beds that did the job will enough in march.

Staff were fabulous, friendly and helpful. Bungalows were quiet and at the end of the beach. We were met by the staff from the ferry to carry our bags as the sea was too rough for the hotels little boat to collect us from the pier. The hotel kept the beach clean in front of the hotel whereas other places didn’t and the beach did look dirty in places. Easy walk to Lazy Beach from the resort which was cleaner and nicer for a days R&R. Food in the restaurant was good with plenty of choice on the menu.

The location was incredible, right on the beach... literally. They will drive you from the pier to the hotel. All the restaurants and bars are on the same beach, so you can easily walk at night . The staff is wonderful and the walk to the rooms/accommodations is beautiful and you feel like in the jungle .Superquiet, just the sound of the cicasas at night .The room was comfortable and cute. The happy hour by the pool was great after a day of exploring . The staff is super helpful.

The island of Koh Rong Sanloem is a little slice of paradise. Stunning beaches and crystal clear blue water. The resort has a lovely pool area with stunning views across the bay. Great cabanas to lie in and plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant also looks out across the beach so you can dine whilst watching the waves.

Perfect location, beautiful scenery, great confort, good air conditioning, good wifi connection, delicious and tasty food, friendly and helpful staff. It’s paradise. Quiet and nice to rest. This is the best type of accommodation for an island like this one. Lazy Beach can be reached in 25 minutes walk, worthy to visit.
