Nice place, excellent staff and care for customer. They supported booking tours, tuktuks, bus tickets, etc... Good breakfast and good practices: engaging local communities, promoting local products and saving one use plastics.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast was a lovely selection too. The pool gets good sun all day, which is a bonus if you want to get a tan. The air con in the room is really good so you can cool down quickly.

Staff was wonderful, facility is very nice but maybe the room’s interior a bit dated and tired, my AC was dripped water on the floor in the middle of the night and that happened in 2 different nights (room 214) even though someone tried to fix it…one day i had a breakfast around 9am and the buffet wasn’t well presented…cold pancakes, not much food left, little fruit, you could tell the buffet wasn’t looked after properly. The next two days I went out for breakfast.
Conveniently located in Siem Reap, We are a non - foreigner worker. Our staffs are all local people. We set this idea in order to support our local people to have a job.

First and foremost, the staff are welcoming and friendly. You get a lot for the price, and the food at the restaurant is quite decent. A great place to stay whether you are an individual or family and it is not far from the town centre. The only drawback is the poor WiFi quality at the facility.

It was a great experience. The heat/humidity combo is full on, but the place has a nice vibe. The temples are something to see, but a 3 day pass is just too much. Better set out only one day. Be well rested and dedicate this day to the 3 most important of the temples. In truth, see too many and become to exhasted, and they just become another pile of stones. We enjoyed the markets, really enjoyed the tuktuk rides - moving air on sweaty bodies - yes, please!! Beautiful countryside and eye opeing way of life of the locals. And the place you book to stay MUST have a pool!

The highlight of our holiday , so much to do .
The highlight of our holiday , so much to do . Very easy to get round by Tuk Tuk. Angkor Wat temple complex amazing but don't just visit the main temples on the small circuit itinerary , visit the large circuit and Roulos Temples on the way to the stilt houses at Tonle Sap Lake. Local circus, main city museum and landmine rats also a must .We were here for eight days but could of stopped longer. Lovely and lively downtown area with great pagodas, local market and brilliant choice of restaurants and shops.

Siem Reap was surprisingly pleasant.
Siem Reap was surprisingly pleasant. I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to have a lot of life, to be clean, and with quite high end hotels, restaurants and nightlife.
The only big drawback is the money. Cambodia has its own currency, but it's one of those currencies where you get wads of notes that are worth only pennies. The USD is the 'parallel' currency, and almost everything is priced in USD. This seemed to me to have the effect of importing US prices for everything. Cambodia is the most expensive Asian country I've been to. The other drawback in this USD money system is they are all terrified of counterfeit. So much so that they scrutinise every USD note you offer them in payment, and if it has the slightest mark, fold, tear, or scuff, they refuse to take it! Most places accept VISA Cards, but I've been scammed before in other Asian countries on my cards so I'm wary of using them. The ATMs are ridiculous too - minimum 100USD withdrawals, and a 5USD charge per withdrawal. Good luck!

Charming small city with lovely surprises.
Charming small city with lovely surprises. Angkor Wat is the top prize but I also enjoyed the Artisans workshops- silk & handcrafts. The streets are cleaner than other cities, and the pavements even. Best of all are the people - sweet, accommodating, polite and enterprising and so proud of their city and country which has been through so much. A joy to be here!

We have been coming to Siem Reap for over 10 years and there is always something new or different to find other than temples, which we keep revisiting anyway because they are so awesome. The best though has to be the people, they are so friendly and helpful and always make you feel happy and make our trips so memorable because of them.

You need 3 full days to see Siem Reap but then you have just scratched the surface. Get a licensed guide as they are more knowledgeable. Start early in the morning and quit in the early afternoon. Forget sunrise and sunset; there are just too many people. Favorite temple is Banteay Samre (1200); has a terrace with lions. Was restored by the French.
You can get around by tuk-tuk or private car. Don't join a group.

The staff at Eightfold Urban Resort took hospitality to a new level for us. From beginning to end we felt welcome and they made sure we had all we needed. Our room with private pool attached was pure luxury and felt like a dream. We would like to thank the Op. Manager Bill and our private overseer Anna for making our stay perfect! A big thanks to the two male bartenders/restaurant staff and the ladies of the in-hotel coffee bar as well for making the best shakes/smoothies and ice coffee! We could have stayed another two weeks..!
Cambodian friendliness and the help, flexibility and kindness of all the staff to make sure we made the most of our few days in Siem Reap. I want to mention all the staff by name but I cannot remember everyone: Rotha, Dalean, Sophie, Chakriya but also cleaners and restaurant staff. Helpful with tours, directions, pick ups (best scooter drivers!) Great location for walking/tuk-tuk around the city. Lovely hotel, affordable but super clean and spacious rooms.
This hotel is the best hotel to stay in Siem Reap for an excellent compromise between an authentic Cambodian experience but with western comforts. It represents great value for money.
The staff are exceptional. They are friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful
The rooms are large and functional but not plush.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Book all your tours, taxis and tuk tuks with them and you won’t be disappointed
it is an incredible hotel and it is brand new. feels like they really care that you have a good time in siem reap. they did my laundry, and it's the best laundry service I have ever had in cambodia. the food was awesome and very affordable. I slept great in the beds, and I probably took 3 shoerrs a day because the shower was so nice.
