We loved staying at this hotel, rooms are very clean and every single one has something different to entertain your kids. There are a lot of options for breakfast. It is very close to everything, walking distance to many restaurants and Bulgoksa Temple. The owner is very friendly and nice, willing give you recommendations and make you feel at home. Thank you!

I wish I had another day to explore this lovely area, There are a lot of historic places to visit other than the site of the tombs. Some of the locations are not within walking distance so you need more time to visit them and one day was not enough if you are interested in the other historic sites. Ask locals for food recommendations as there are so many restaurants to choose from. Do some advance research so you know what you want to see and can make the most of your time.

Gyeongju is a fantastic destination with beautiful sights...
Gyeongju is a fantastic destination with beautiful sights like Wolji Pond and Bulguksa Temple, offering a perfect mix of history and charm. The city also boasts great cafes and bars, such as Prep, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Most locations are within easy walking distance, making exploring both convenient and enjoyable.

The staff is nice.
The staff is nice. It has it's own bar next door, you get one free beer. The group rooms have their own bathroom each which is nice, especially in the middle of the night. They have bathtubs (as well as showers) which is rather unusual for a hostel and Korea. Bring your own bathplug though. Rooms are cleaned everyday, though the common room is full of clutter. The kitchen has a place where you can cook if you want but was not particularly clean. The location is very good and you can get everywhere from the bus stop half a block away. You can also walk to many places.

I wish I hadn’t listened to others online and spent more than one night here. It’s peaceful, especially at night, and the wonderful coffee shops around town are a highlight. I didn’t realize there was such good shopping here, as well, without all the downsides of being in one of the big cities. I wish we’d stayed three nights, but maybe next time we’re in Korea!

A beautiful place, close to nature.
A beautiful place, close to nature. It is spectacular and has the best air in the world! If you want a small town vibe alongwith delicious food and small cozy cafes (the best coffee!!) You need to come here. Once you are here, book a stay at Doran Doran. You can walk around and reach beautiful palaces, a beautiful garden which not just takes care of your 10 thousand steps but adds years to your life. The beautiful breakfast makes your heart beam with and and the cute 90s vibe strikes a memory or two! Just outside the guesthouse, there is a convenient store, where you can meet some amazing people over a beer (like I did!) Go for it buddy!!

Gyeongju is a place worth to visit.
Gyeongju is a place worth to visit. It was my second time visit but I didinot remember the detail of the first time as I visited there by a tour from Japan. It may be better to visit there not by a group tour. ALthough I visited there alone, it looks that more enjoyable for a couple. There are some histrical places and in addition nice and fashonable streets.

This place is so cute. It's not the Ritz, but that's not why you're booking it. It's a super charming, quiet little guesthouse with a beautiful garden located centrally in Gyeongju. The rooms are small but so cute and the daily breakfast is so lovely. Most importantly, the woman running the guesthouse is so kind, even if it's difficult to communicate, she is so warm and welcoming. If you're looking for something different from a traditional hotel, just book it. You'll enjoy the experience. A real gem.
I have a house on the outskirts of Gyeongju, but I often use this hotel because it is quiet and the location is great. Even before the remodel, I loved it and recommended it to my friends, but it got even better after the remodel. As a true Gyeongju person who graduated from Wolseong Elementary School, I recommend it.
The hotel has potential but there are a lot of small improvements required hence the poor score. The location is not in the main town but it is still good especially if you want to visit Gyeongju world. The room was spacious and clean. The evening entertainment singers were one of our favourite bits of the stay!
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Korea in terms of value for money, comfort, after-sales service, and breakfast.
If you are going to Gyeongju for vacation or a conference and need a central location, comfortable rooms with top-notch facilities, and a moderate budget, go to the SUGAR hotel...
Great location in walking distance from most of the nice sites in Gyeongju. The hotel manager was really friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
