Really nice room located next to the beaches. Very good breakfast in quantity! And the staff are really nice and helpful. They took us for a boat trip to see the mangroves and to see what there is to see around. And show us the gems from Sri Lanka. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Villa 184! The hosts were incredibly caring and made sure I had the best experience exploring the nearby attractions. Akhil, their son, took me on a bike ride to Cinnamon Island, which was such a memorable experience. On night, when it was raining and I couldn't go out for food, they went out of their way to serve me a delicious homemade dinner. Akhil also helped me catch an early morning train, ensuring I had a smooth journey. Their hospitality went beyond expectations, making me feel safe, comfortable, and truly welcomed. I highly recommend Villa 184 to anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay in Sri Lanka! Due to my limited time, I was able to stay only one night over there. Definitely will visit again. !!!!

The villa is an absolutely stunning colonial building set in a lush, beautifully maintained garden that feels like a tropical paradise. The decor was very tasteful, and both the room and bathroom were lovely. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food was good. What I personally appreciated the most was the peaceful atmosphere — there were no street noises reaching the villa, and it was an easy walk to a beautiful beach. We also treated ourselves to an aromatherapy massage, which was very relaxing and a pleasant addition to our stay.

This is just the place if you are looking for a beautiful simple accommodation that is directly in nature with ocean. Ramesh and his mother are helpful with everything and make you feel like you are part of their wonderful family. They help you organise your trip and show a full effort to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is amazing, you get a huge portion of fruit, tea coffee, eggs and toast with Sri Lankan rice & curry. The property is in a great location, close enough to the beach. You are surrounded by nature and can see monkeys, squirrels and birds. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area. The family is so lovely and hospitable that you can't help but extend it all the time. They invited us to join traditional family celebrations which allowed a unique insight into the culture. The price is more than justified and I will certainly return to Villa 826 ahungalla on my next stay.

We absolutely loved the food! The chef is incredible and we had 3 x melas a day at the restaurant there. Each outdoing each other. I also loved the beach. I was worried about strong surf. But the little bay was perfection. I am a strong swimmer and feel comfortable in the surf, but this was super fun, playful and OMG Warm! We had the pool one bedroom with the pool on the beach. What a dream. An absolutely wonderful way to finish our honeymoon. Noting that we planned to and did stay here in the whole time, not leaving (why would you) so 2 x nights was pretty great here.

- Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.
