A bit of misunderstanding at arrival. We had to way longer than it was told and communication was not clear. Overall amazing experience. Place and pool are amazing. Restaurant stuff very nice. Food is too spicy. Little options for international people. Many options for Indian-type of food. Very good value for money.

The service was amazing! Every desire we had was accomplished. It felt very safe and nice. The shower was a real treat and the rooms are very spacious. We played football enjoyed the river and the pool. The food was great and in general very personal service. Our best stay until now we would love to stay more.

A very quiet place and a wonderful and lovely family! They helped me with everything I needed, they even bought fish for dinner just because I asked for it, even though it wasn’t on the menu😊They also gave me a ride to Sigiriya. They’re very thoughtful and make you feel like one of them :)

    We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

    Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

    I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

    The guesthouse is very close to Dambulla Cave Temples which was the reason I chose it. It has decent rooms and very friendly hosts. Run by a sweet family who are always willing to help out. I always got response within a min if I needed anything. I found their rates for tuk tuk to Polannaruwah and Sigiriya so I opted for a private one and they didn't mind. Had breakfast one day and it was a big spread and pretty good. The room is very clean and the bathroom too.

    We had a very warm welcome and were given fresh mango juice from the garden which was a lovely touch. The pool is fantastic and the place is a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Dambulla. Easy to get a bus at just before 7am to Sigiriya, less than a two min walk. We were given some mangoes to take with us which was very kind. Hotel still has renovations going on, so it’s fantastic value for money

    The hotel is near all the main attractions of Dambulla and the host always helps with any arrangements regarding tours/tuk tuk for example to Sigiriya. Tea, water and also all served meals have been amazing.
