Had an amazing stay at Sea View Villa! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and opened up to stunning ocean views. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We stayed at Villa Sidu for three weeks and we cannot say enough good things about the owners, location and wonderful meals. Himali and Jana are exceptional hosts who were warm and attentive. Himali would provide a wake up pot of tea at 7:00 a.m. each morning followed by a delicious breakfast of fruit plates, ‘egg roti’ and fried eggs. More tea would arrive at 3:00 p.m. and a dinner of our choice at six: curried prawns and rice or red snapper and French fries or Sri Lankan biryani. Jana was always standing by to take us into nearby Bentota for supplies or banking in his trusty tuk tuk. The location is excellent with the beach just outside the back door. Induruwa is a lot less populated and quieter than the upscale beach at Bentota. The accommodation is quite simple but comfortable. With the rates as reasonable as they are you will need to supply your own shampoo and soap. Towels (two sets) and sheets are changed regularly and the room cleaned two or three times a week. The two rooms at the back of the house, facing the beach, are a little more expensive but well worth the extra cost for their spaciousness, AC and running hot water. As inveterate travellers, we recommend Villa Sidu most highly.
