The place is really stunning, the house is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The house is located 2min away from lightpoint which is a surf spot but it is far from arugam so it is very quiet. You can walk on the beach easily but the sea is very agitated so it’s not a place where you can swim. We appreciated the quietness of the place and it’s a great house to chill and basically do nothing.

We had an amazing time at Hilltop Cabanas! The place is located right at the beach and around there is pretty much just nature - we loved it! The manager was so friendly and even showed us wild roaming elephants in the afternoon, an unforgettable experience!
The Cabana itself was perfect: it was clean, had a special atmosphere because you are sleeping „outside“ but even tho there was no AC it‘s not too hot at night. The common area had some books and games you could use which was also really cool.
The food choices were limited (offseason) but the meals were just fantastic - 10/10!
All in all: 100% recommend this place!

Fabulous place to stay in Arugam Bay. We stayed in off season so the hotel was very quiet but the staff were so helpful and accomodating with everything we wanted to organise. Stunning views of the beach from our room and good food in the restaurant. Lovely rooftop area to do some exercise in the mornings.

Such an amazing time with lots of supports with all stuff. The manager Maneesha was a great communicator, she made every single request of mine happened: transportation, yoga, surfing lessons etc. I was traveling by myself but I felt so safe and welcomed. I highly recommend this place. The hotel is right cross the street from beach. Beautiful sunset is worth to wake up right before 6am.

I ended up stay at this resort for two days. the scenery is stunning, very close to the beach. the accomodation is clean and comfortable while still being part of nature. the service is exceptional, the staff are willing to help with anything you need. the food was incredible, mostly itialian style food. the owner is italian so you can be assured that the food is authentic. the pizza's are amazing and made in the pizza oven on site. the property is also home two very friendly dogs and a adorable cat. I can say enough good things about this resort. 10/10 , would recommend!

We were in the "tree house" for nine nights. The view from the large terrace is exceptional! Also, there is always a nice breeze up there. We had a family of monkeys visiting regularly - rare opportunity to watch them from very close. The Surf Beach Hotel is only a very short walk away from the great beach where we could safely swim. The family has helped us with tuktuk trips to nearby beaches and surf spots. Deen and his team offer surfing lessons at Elephant Rock surf point and start right at the hotel. Great place to surf!

Well, almost all the rooms in the area are similar to each other. What you are looking for is a good AC and good internet and this place provides it. The place is quiet and even though it is on the sea you return to quiet room and a quiet area after a long day which is nice. The owner is very nice everything I asked for was given to me.
