Close to both beach and town. Several good restaurants in the vicinity. We particularly liked the ones by the railway track and platform of Bentota station. Chami is a great guy who can fix anything from a drink to an excursion or a SriLankan breakfast!

We loved our stay here. The hosts were very warm and went out of their way to honour our requests. Beautiful rooms and a stone's throw away from the beach. Very clean garden where one can enjoy a wholesome breakfast. We enjoyed the spa facilities as well. Only one must figure out the meals on their own. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling as a group or solo.

The staff were amazing. The owner was there and he made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to help. We requested a late checkout and they provided that as well. They have also bought the adjoining land recently, so the resort will be really nice in a year or so as it expands.

SELAVI is an oasis of calm and quietness. It has a beautiful garden and overlooks the Bentota river. The food is exeptional & come with large portions. The staff are friendly and drop us off on the beach in the morning for free. We only payed a few hundred rupees to get back in the evening. We really loved our stay and will be back next year with friends. :-)

The location was excellent and the setting beautiful. Conveniently located near a P&S café come restaurant, which served affordable, tasty snacks and meals. The breakfasts served were outstanding! Wonderful fruit platter and fresh fruit juice. Cooked breakfast freshly prepared and served. The couple running this place were always extremely friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated that we were offered a complimentary king coconut to drink on arrival.

This is a boutique Ayurvedic / Yoga small complex with all suites looking out onto the Bentoa river which is a stunning river. The complex is new and suites spacious and nicely built. The treatments led by two Doctors are exceptional, supported by natural herbal medicine. If you have no ailments this is equally suited for just deep relaxation. The food is excellent, freshly made from local produce with a nice variety. Highly recommended!
