The property is only a 15 minute walk from the Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja forest so this was ideal for out trip. You could see the forest when you sit at the front porch.
It is far away from the main towns, Neluwa or Deniyaya, but there are two grocery stores just 5 mins away in any case of emergency.
The best way to reach the property from Colombo would be to go to Neluwa town and take the Lankgama bus to the last point.
The hosts were exceptional and I would recommend the 100%. They were very helpful, informative and accommodating. We had to make a last minute addition to the booking and they accommodated us without any reservations. They provided us with tasty meals and tea with snacks in the morning and evening. When we needed some items from the town, they were gracious enough to use their own transport and go out of their way to help us out. They also advised us on any interesting activities in the area and set up a guide to take us through the forest.

Amazing view from the property and really nice and spacious rooms. The rooms were really clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hosts at the hotel were all really friendly and helpful. There was a pool with a really nice view as well.
The food at the restaurant was decent and made fresh which was a nice bonus.

Great location for nature lovers. Nice view over the valley below and the mountain above, especially on sunrise. Very friendly staff that helped us a lot. One of them is a guide and took us to the sliding rock, a natural waterslide that the kids loved. Then he took my son and husband on an exciting night excursion. The day after we went to the rainforest for the whole day and he found a lot of interesting animals for us to see.
The food was great and plentiful, the whole family was happy. The hotel is just next to a bus stop.

The owner Sahara was super friendly, good English speaking and helps with absolutely everything! Moreover the location is super unique! The food there is also very delicious.
