One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. The staff was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to help us out. They even took us on a tour of the gardens and property as we wanted to learn more about local plants. The place was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Definitely a must for people seeking to relax. Lastly, the food was delicious too! I'll definitely try to be back as soon as I can!

We stayed at the loft for two nights in April with our kids (ages 7 and 3), and it was truly a unique and memorable experience—we absolutely loved it!
The food was delicious, and the caretakers, Mahinda and Sunitha, were incredibly warm and hospitable. There's plenty to do around the property, but even if you just want to unwind, it's a perfect spot. The cool breeze and lush greenery create such a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.
While there’s no A/C, the fans worked well as long as the windows were left open to let the breeze in. Just remember to use the nets at night to keep out small insects—nothing alarming, just something to be mindful of in a nature-filled setting.
Walawwa Eco-Lodge 에코-롲지 is recently renovated and includes a living room with a TV. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

I had the best stay at Walawwa Eco-Lodge! Shan and his wife are wonderful hosts. Excellent communication made it easy to find the place, and Shan helped me arrange a local tuk tuk driver to take me to the nearby Yapahuwa Rock Fortress and back. He also dropped me off in town when I checked out and helped me get the correct bus! Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. The location is very peaceful and surrounded by trees. I'd happily stay here again. (I'm a woman travelling alone and felt completely safe).

A very friendly and helpful staff, and an amazing rice and curry for dinner! The place is also one of the few places strategically located close to Yapahuwa. I heard the rooms will be equipped with AC soon.
