If you're visiting Vilnius, you'll easily find the Old Town, museums, cathedrals, and the iconic Three Crosses. For dinner, London Grill, Brussels Mussels, and Neringa Restaurant are all great choices. But don’t limit yourself to just the Old Town — the TV Tower and the surrounding areas of Vilnius are also well worth exploring.

Cozy with a lot of alleys and old town streets to stroll around.
Despite the population changes of the last century (google : ethnic composition change history LRT ), the city still has a cosmopolitan appearance. Sitting in a cafe or bar, you will hear many languages (Lithuanian, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, English and so on). Part of the reason is that many international companies have outsourced to the Baltics).
At this time (March 2025), Vilnius feels very affordable with a glass of wine in a gastrobar (popular concept here) for 2,50 Euro or a simple meal of potato pancakes for 6 Euro. You may want to google: numbeo vilnius cost
Personal travel tip / discovery : Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History . This museum is situated in a beautifully renovated theatre building.
Vilnius feels clean and safe.

The Old Town was huge and we'll preserved.Lots if beautiful architecture. Be prepared for long walks.
Not great for shopping. Presumedly you have to go out of the Old Town.
Customer service was generally poor. You felt unwelcome in most shops and cafes. People in general seemed moody and fed up with tourists. We were there out of the season. Luckily there were some exceptions like The Cat Cafe and Pachmama Dining Club.

It would definitely be better to choose a warmer period for going there, as there is much to see, and it's much more beautiful with sunny weather rather than gloomy and cold. There are lots of cafes and churches to explore and visit. It's easy to walk around using Google Maps if you want to see and visit specific places.
Vilnius is the perfect city to explore on foot - you only need your legs and a positive attitude. Open Google Maps on your phone and head out to visit all the churches and attractions; they’re 100% worth it.
Many of the churches offer free entry, providing an amazing experience and a visual treat.

Good public transport.
Wifi in most placed (restaurants, supermarkets, etc)
The tourist information center even has a small theater in the back showing videos about Vilnius, and even nice well kept public convenience facilities inside.

Vilnius is my home town, you wont regret staying at this hotel. Me and my partner stayed second time. Location is the best, you on the right side of river with tall buildings, few shopping centers with food courts close by and just across the bridge you are in the city centre with beautiful old town, coffee shops and restaurants! Briliant. Hotel has parking which is the best option if you want to stay close to city centre/old town as park in there it could be hard and expensive.
We will definitelly come back.
Breakfast was very good and room was nice, not very big but OK. Location good, just a short walk and you will get to Old town. Lots of restaurats and caféet nearby. It costs only 0,80 euro to travel with train from airport to town, very cheap and easy. We like Vilnuis a lot, many nice old buildings, good food, good museums (KGB museum very interesting), it felt very safe all the time. We didn´t try the spa at the hotel, it costed 20 euro extra/person.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the city centre, but also quite close to the airport and the bus station.
The staff is very friendly, and they always try to help.
The breakfast buffet is also very good, with both typical/ traditional Lithuanian and international foods, that would satisfy savory and sweet teeths alike.
The breakfast was the best of all the hotels I stayed at in the Baltic countries, and it had the best value for money.
Conveniently located 6 minutes walk from the central station, close to the old town, and close to the market. The nearby Georgian restaurant was also delicious.
Great location. Bus €1 from airport drops you 100m from hotel. 5 minutes walk to Old Town. Breakfast was satisfactory not exceptional. I was lucky as I got upgraded to a good room on the top floor. Pleasant room. Normal rooms are smaller and basic.. Staff were helpful.
