Excellent stay. Beautiful location. Staff was very friendly. Only downside of our stay was the wifi. WiFi connection was spotty at best and was down the night we stayed. There was no cell service at all. We stayed in a cave room and even outside of the room there was no cell service or wifi at all. It’s good to disconnect and understand the remoteness of the location. We were just worried our kids can’t reach us in case of an emergency. Just be aware of this when you stay there. Otherwise, overall the stay and experience was great. FYI, There’s excellent cell reception as soon as we got back on the road.

Right next to the climbing, and the staff is great. Majid and the crew were very welcoming and made us feel at home.

We arrived late at night, but the staff was already waiting for us outside. They were extremely hospitable and they invited us to go on a 3 hour hike with another couple the next day, visiting a nomad family and returning through the Gorge. Breakfast was plentiful, room was clean and had AC/HC, shower had good pressure and hot water. You could see that amenities had been recently renovated. If it were not for them we would have missed some of the most amazing experiences during our trip to Morocco, including having tea with a Nomad man. We would definitely return.

The Riad gives the feeling of spaciousness when you enter, with wide hallways and staircases, and a big comfy room for meals. Open the door to the room, however, and we entered the most ridiculously tiny space. For that reason, the rating is lower, as our room certainly wasn’t a comfortable place to be, and the bathroom was very poorly laid out, we couldn’t even fully open the door. Our friends were supplied with only one towel. On the plus side, each room had a heater, which was welcome on our first rainy day. Breakfast was very good, and our host was friendly and helpful.
Offering garden views, Kasbah Maison D’hôte Lalla Zahra in Aït Baha provides accommodations and a shared lounge. This guest house features free private parking and a concierge service.

Loved the location in the old kasbah . The owner and his son were super friendly, helpul and professional! Food was excellent. Room was clean and the view from rooftop was superb!
Visit, Visit, Visit. And if you like to hike, do the climb that starts at the stairs. If you are a good climber, it takes about an hour to get to the top. We crossed paths with goats and nomads along the way! The view is a panoramic view of both sides.

Todra Gorge is a beautiful area.
Todra Gorge is a beautiful area. I went there mainly to climb with a group of friends as it is an area famous for this
Etoile de Gorge as the perfect location for this as there is literally great climbing as soon as you step out of the hotel. Many great climbing spots are just within walking distance. And if you drive a bit, you can find more amazing crags.
Wi-fi is bad in the entire area.
(BTW Orange has zero signal in this area so get a Sim from INWI if you're thinking of coming to Todra Gorge).
I would seriously recommend planning for a digital detox and not having to do a bit of remote work as I had to :( as this place is gorgeous and relaxing!
Price-wise the whole area it's on the touristy end for food. But this can be said for all hotels and restaurants in the area. Restaurant food prices aren't too different from touristy places in Marrakesh. In other (less popular) places, the food quality is the same and half the price.
