Big rooms. Comfy beds.Good view from my windows to city. Hot shower and warm room in very cold rainy spell .
Lovely sweets cake in room and two bottles of water as a welcome and slippers and bathrobes. Location quite good. ( Though hard to cross road to walk into town. In fact I fell in a hole so dangerous due to road works.
They offered us use or indoor pool for free because of the pool works outside.

I liked its simplicity. Like something from a 1970s film about the USSR. It was very basic. But at the same time, surprisingly comfortable.
So, the good parts. The bed was very comfortable and so were the sheets and bedding. And I’m very particular about that. So my sleeping was good. The room was spacious. It had a working fridge which I used. The carpets and room were clean.
The breakfast was excellent. They had traditional Moroccan mlaoui which is like a pancake that you could drizzle with honey. So good. And they also had harsha which is made from cous cous and is also very tasty. They had a range of pastries, danishes, pain au chocolat and just normal croissants. They had cereals. They had fresh, real coffee and fresh orange juice. The breakfast really was great.
The gentleman who oversees the breakfast was also very lovely and chatty. He also added to the breakfast experience by chatting about Morocco and Ramadan which was coming up and he also helped me to take apart a bronze ornament I had bought. He really was super helpful.

Commonly spelled Fez, this city was Morocco’s capital during Middle Ages. The city was originally composed of two separate settlements located along the banks of the Jawhar River. Madinat Fas was founded in 789 by Idris I, while Al-'Aliya was founded by his son Idris II. Both towns grew autonomously until the Almoravids unified them in 1070 under the name ‘Fas’. The city is still considered a beacon of the Islamic civilisation, due to its ancient ‘madrasas’ Islamic colleges.
The Old Town or ‘medina’ has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, representing one of the best preserved historic centres in the world. The famous ‘riads’ or small traditional hotels are located in the medina, which is also called Fes Al-Bali.
The city can be reached through Fès Saïss Airport, or from the airports in Casablanca and Rabat via railway or bus connection. Whether you’re looking for a luxury hotel in Fez New Town or a historic ‘riad’ in the medina, don’t miss Booking.com’s wide offering!

Vibrant city, divided between old (fascinating area with historic Medina and buildings)and modern area ( less appealing). The museum of Islamic art and the"Ruined Garden" are must see. The local food is excellent, tagines, couscous and camel meat ****. Visit a Hannah for an invigorating wash and massage.

My family and I only stayed for 1 night. Wish we would have stayed a little longer. Medina was nice and there were other tourist attractions I wish we could have seen. 2 Nights i think would be just right. Food was good and Riad was very appealing.

Fez is a city of 2 half's the Madina is amazing with a very old almost medieval feel to it the people are very welcoming and friendly and the Market is just out of this world. Be prepared to walk a lot and definitely not for those with disabilities or unsteady on there feet. The New city is very modern and has a feel of a European city with its high end shops and cafes. I would definitely recommend taking the excsions out of fez to explore the surrounding area as their is some stunning scenery to experience too

Fes is a beautiful city and the old town they're male you feel that you are back in time
They have a lot of shops and echoing you can think off.
The oldest unobtrusive in the world according to United nation (Alqaraweyeen is there), it is not the mosque and theology part as I have found out msny building complexes belonging to it.
They are famous for leather work

Definitely prefer Fez over Marrakesh. Navigating the small streets without motorcycles & scooters felt so much safer & less hectic. The shop keepers were not pushy as we experienced in Marrakesh.

Fes is an assault on all the senses and - if your'e not careful - on the wallet too. Just seeing the souks and lanes of the Medina is an overwhelming experience. If you get into one of the craft shops you will be tempted by the excellent quality and value. Besides the Medina there are interesting places to visit around the city. I'd recommend getting a guide for the day - who will cover both. Also not to be missed is the hamman- massage experience. We used the Royal Medina Spa and found it fabulous. Fes is exciting, frustrating at times and leaves you exhausted and very glad you went.
Riad Fes Aicha is the best place to stay.
It is very close to the entrance of the Medina (the most interesting attraction of Fez).
The host Omar is very kind, helpful and very nice.
The breakfast is very good, plentiful, full of fresh and homemade food. Moreover, on the morning of our departure, the flight was at 6 a.m. and Omar prepared a take-away breakfast for us (even if it wasn’t the breakfast hours).
The room was comfortable.
Omar gave us numerous recommendations.
We highly recommend this hotel.
Absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the free breakfast delicious, the location great (in a quiet area inside the Medina) and the place itself... Wow! Beautifully decorated.
We ended up staying an extra night just because we enjoyed our stay so much.
I highly recommend having dinner here. The food was the best we had in our 2 week stay in Morocco.
This is definitely THE place to stay in Fès!
Excellent hospitality from the staff, the best Riad we have been throughout our trip around Morocco.
The owner and the operators are lovely and genuinely interested in making sure we'd have a brilliant stay.
Stunning terrace with panoramic view on the Medina of Fes. Quality restaurant too.
Highly recommended
the most beautiful hotel I have been to in Morocco! authentic 17th century architecture, clean and classy, with the most gorgeous terrace and sweetest very professional staff. I really recommend to book a hammam / massage treatment too!
Staff was super friendly and location, in the middle of the medina of Fes, just perfect! The breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. Highly recommended! We would book here again in a heartbeat!
