Great location in the middle of town. Filling breakfast which we took on a tray to the roof terrace (thank you). The room was comfortable with blankets for the cold weather, and the shower nice and hot. Some noise outside in the little square till midnight but it was Ramadan and people moved on quickly. Parking outside was limited but we got a space.

Upon entering this charming hotel we were greeted by Mohamed and were immediately made to feel completely at home. His warmth and smile will remain etched in our memory from this short 2 day visit to a very special hotel. Les Amis sheds exceptional light on the quality of Berber hospitality and cultural refinement. It's super clean, secure and comfortable. Made this too short trip to the Anti-Atlas a stand out in our month-long swing through Morocco.

Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant.
Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time.
In a rental car its super easy to get around.

You will have to drive 250km from Agadir on winding roads and dirt paths to get there. With very few tourists, lovely small restaurants Places of interes are ,Les Roches Bleues. These “Blue Rocks” are undoubtedly one of Tafraoute’s most iconic symbols. Painted in 1984 by Belgian artist Jean Verame. La Tete du Lion. This rock formation, which translates into English as “The Lion’s Head”, is located on top of a boulder on the Tafraoute Valley Mountain. Ait Mansour Gorge. Thirty kilometers from Tafraoute, the incredible Ait Mansour Gorge is located in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains and is considered one of Morocco’s finest oases.

We ate at the restaurant La Kasbah which was wonderful and very good value. There are hikes, bouldering, climbing, and cycling opportunities all around. There is a wonderful shop run by Ali with all kinds of natural products - we bought Amlou, Argan oil (edible) and three different types of honey (cactus, carob, orange)

Hamid and Khadijah were excellent hosts, being both friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfasts and dinners that they prepared were excellent and they made sure to check breakfast and dinner timings with us everyday.
The hotel is situated right in the centre of town, with great access to nearby restaurants and shops.
Overall, it was amazing value for money and we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Amis.
The location is perfect, in the tranquil and beautiful Ameln valley, 10 minutes drive from Tafraout. The rooms are simple but had everything we needed. We loved the rooftop terrace and the garden. They have a good restaurant as well. The staff is very helpful, we didnt have a vehicle so the manager M’jid helped us a lot organizing transport for us or sometimes taking us by himself to Tafraout. We will definitely return!
The location of this Auberge was astonishing, with a direct view of the beautiful Atlas Mountains of Morocco... it truly seemed to be in a movie seen. The hotel is basically an old castle, with a beautiful garden and a big refreshing pool! The rooms are clean and the place is an oasis of tranquility. Highly reccomended!
Clean and comfortable, an easy 10 minute drive out of Tafraoute. The restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was very good. The staff were amazing, very friendly and sweet.
