Everything about this place was brilliant. The rooms were very modern and had everything you needed. The pool area was beautiful and the food was lovely. The manager Ahmed was fantastic and I just want to say thank you to him for looking after us all :-).

The location was perfect. 10 stars perfect location. The staff were friendly and laid back. Helpful and also peaceful. The room was super clean. The beds were firm and this is comfortable to me. It smelled good in the whole place. The shared bathroom was very clean.

    I loved the people that I met during my visit.

    I loved the people that I met during my visit. I would absolutely come back, I was only here for two full days so I feel like I need more time. Chefchaouen is a must see as well as Tetouan. I also enjoyed my visit to Cap Spartel, I didn’t go up to the top but the views from the outside were very beautiful. I didn’t think seeing the Cave of Hercules was worth it. Getting around was easy by foot and also felt easy if we had a taxi/tour guide. Be mindful of who you book tours with and read reviews because not everyone is as thorough. I did have one not so good tour guide experience, however, overall, I would visit the city again.

    Tangier is a good entry to Morocco.

    Tangier is a good entry to Morocco. More relaxed and European than Marrakesh. The Medina is wonderful and you don't get harassed as a much as down south. 2/3 days is enough in Tangier. A day trip to Chefchouen is nice and the open top city bus to Cap Spartel. We were at Riad Tanja by the Merican Gate near the old Jewish cemetery.

    The city tour bus (jump on/jump off) was a fascinating way to spend a rainy morning. Wandering the souks and shopping for Moroccan shirts in the afternoon. People friendly - very little hassling. Very safe and relaxing vibe generally.

    Walking round the old city “Kasbar” otherwise just another city. It’s quite hilly with good views across the straights to Europe / Gibraltar. Take an open topped bus tour, leaves from the Ville ferry terminal. The larger high end hotels are in vicinity of the Tanger Ville train station - which is impressive in itself.

    Tangier is very different to other cities we visited in Morocco, much more modern with a smaller Medina. A good mix of modern and historic. A good location to use as a base to visit surrounding towns and cities.

    Interesting souk which isn't overwhelmingly big. The old town is interesting and in February wasn't packed with tourists. A wonderful long walk along the promenade by the stunning beach was a real pleasure.

    The hotel is situated in the heart of the Medina and all sorts of amenities are close to the hotel.Abdoul who is the Receptionist and also in charge of the daily operations of the hotel goes beyond his duties to look after his clients.I can write endless compliments about this place and its staff because in Morocco wherever you go it is about your hospitality and everyone assumes to have a duty of care towards tourists.
