The village is close to Podgorica but feels very far away due to the beautiful rural surroundings. It's very quiet and peaceful, with the lake and mountains. You can hear wolves howling from the mountain at night, and amazing birds and insect sounds. The house is safe and secure, with bug screens and locks.
Alexander has a lovely family and you really feel as though you are a welcome guest. His mother makes incredible food - don't bother finding somewhere to go out and eat! She is a real gem.

My husband and I spent a week at the winery. We enjoyed it very much, our expectations were met: great wine, homemade Montenegrin cuisine, beautiful view, excellent conditions, and most importantly peace, quiet and fresh air. A benchmark of Montenegrin hospitality.
I slept soundly, walked a lot, saw vineyards and fruit trees blossoming for the first time. I feel rested!
On the plus side: I practiced my Montenegrin, it was also possible to communicate in English, but for me it was important to use the local language.
everything is there: wifi, hot water, sewerage, the room is very cosy.
I will come back again, I want to go in September for the grape harvest, if it doesn't work out I will just come for the tasting.

We loved the rustic feel of the cottage and the comfortable sofas, beds and air conditioning, The kitchen was very well equipped and being able to drink the filtered water was a bonus. The village is remote but very pretty with some beautiful swimming spots that were wonderfully warm in July. It is about 30 minutes drive to the nearest shops down some hair raising roads for either grocery supplies or cash (and the village is cash only). Our hosts were kind and generous and, we recommend eating and swimming at thier camp site through the village.
