A very authentic Maltese accommodation with very kind and helpful staff, delicious and fresh breakfasts. It is not in a boring tourist area, but in a real, local lively area of Mata. There is a bus stop opposite the accommodation from where you can easily reach any point in Malta. We loved the area too.

Breakfast was good. But no food available at the hotel after 1pm! Staff were rude.

We liked that it’s close to the sea and also near the station that connects to all other cities. There are also restaurants and shops in that area.

The area is kind of sketchy and I heard from a local that it's considered one of the sketchiest places in Malta. However, I never felt like it was dangerous, so that's still pretty relative. Also, it's close enough to Valetta and there are multiple public transport options.

this neighbourhood is quite old and noisy, there is nothing to see specifically. It is only to sleep and eat. It's is at the crossroad of almost all destination in Malta so good place for an hotel.
But I would suggest to take and hotel next to Valetta or well equipped
