Located in the heart of St. Julians, Alexandra Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. It features a rooftop swimming pool and a terrace with views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The property location was really good, the staff in the restaurant were really friendly and always happy to help. There was a cleaner daily which was nice and they were great. The gym pool and sauna was a great addition to the experience and elevated the things that weren’t so great.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Weston. The service was second to none and welcomed us to the wonderful kind and gentle Maltese culture. Everything felt easy, so much flow. The staff couldn’t do more for us. The service and hotel is world class. Easy to get to other places and very easy to obtain transport. Felt very safe. It was quiet even though the hotel was full. It felt like an upmarket home away from home! Highly recommend and will come again.

Vivaldi Hotel is set in St Julians centre, 100 metres from the beaches. It offers panoramic views on the Mediterranean Sea and a rooftop pool with sun loungers.

I had a sea view room with balcony. The room was very big, clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. (This cannot be said about the small chair.) There was enough bottled water each day in my room. The breakfast was good, with sufficient options and relatively cheap. I was glad to find out that the hop-on/hop-off bus stops just on the corner opposite the hotel. There is a very good fish restaurant just around the hotel corner, but also many cheaper dinner options nearby.

The George is a modern boutique hotel in the centre of lively St. Julians, just 200 metres from the bus station. It includes an indoor spa and a rooftop terrace with swimming pool.

Having read so many positive reviews about The George, I am disappointed to say that it did not meet my expectations. The hotel is out-dated and old fashioned. Common areas, such as the corridors, were really unclean. There were buckets of dirty mop water and vacuums left in the hallway outside our room each day. Arm chairs and sofas scattered around the hotel and in the main lobby were particularly dirty. The hotel bar isn’t much of a bar. It is small and tucked away in the corner of the reception area with no proper seating and no one working behind it. To had to go to the reception to order. The breakfast room was being renovated, with loud drilling starting as early as 7am some mornings. As a result, there was no space in the hotel for guests to eat - we were directed down the road to another hotel with a very limited selection of food. On two of the three mornings we were there, there was a dog in the breakfast room. Staff were petting the dog and then immediately handling food, dishes and cutlery - absolutely no hand washing observed. The room again was dated. The amenities were poor. The television was poorly tuned, with very few channels and a remote control that only worked on occasion. There was no ventilation in the bathroom and black mould in the shower. It wasn’t very clean either. When we arrived, both the table and coffee dock were stained with tea and coffee. They obviously hadn’t been wiped down. The once-white arm chairs in the room again were grotty, which was really off-putting. The bed was flimsy and obviously very poor quality. On our first day at The George, a member of staff entered our room completely unannounced. They did not knock or enquire to see if anyone was there, but instead simply unlocked the door and walked straight in. When they saw we were there, they said they had the wrong room and left. The one positive about our stay at The George was the hotel staff.

    St Julian’s is convenient if a traveller is staying for a week as there is good public transport to Valletta. However, it is more suitable for younger people who enjoy clubbing. We were awoken quite frequently by people banging doors at all hours of the night and morning. It is definitely a party place and unfortunately there was evidence of this on the street near us on Sunday morning

    Preferred the area around the hotel.

    Preferred the area around the hotel. Great restaurants and bars. Easy to reach Sliema ferries. Loved Caroline’s Tea Rooms opposite the ferry. Open top bus offers great options Rodin French Brasserie highly recommended Juuls Bar a must as a tribute to Bob Marley Il Forno offers fabulous lunch options as well as delicious pastries and cakes.

    If you like to party, then St.

    If you like to party, then St. Julian's is the right place for you. Even we didn't go to the night clubs, we liked the vibes of the city during the night while doing a late walking after dinner. We also felt very safe while walking there even late, there were guards everywhere, even we didn't noticed any situation where they would be called. It's also close to Sliema, where we went walking and enjoying the beautiful view from the cost.

The restaurants around the area serve delicious food, offering a variety of cuisines to choose from. Additionally, the beach is amazing, providing a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Whether you're looking for fun, great dining, or a scenic spot by the sea, St Julian’s has something for everyone!

    The hotel is located in the heart of Paceville more or less which means that you are in the middle of Maltas 'partyzone'. If you like that, then this is the hotel you are looking for. Do not expect that much luxury, it is a quite worn out hotel. The breakfast was quite alright, much to choose from and nice breakfast staff. All in all we were quite happy with our stay but the hotel was a little bit to worn out for our taste (and we had a superior room is worth to mention).
