This is a very unique property in the very center of the Lilongwe . It has a completely different feel, more like a camp than a hotel in the city. The food was excellent, they have a great menu with Malawi specialties as well as an Indian menu. The owner made a point of stopping by my table to see how I was enjoying my stay. Very friendly and capable staff. Was fun to watch all the monkeys that run around the outside of this place.

Breakfast good. Location pretty unwalkable, but that's Lilongwe. Staff really wanted to be helpful, sometimes to a fault (trying to come "refresh" my room in the evening when I didn't need anything).

Unique ambiance in a boutique hotel feel. We enjoyed the unusual decor. The air conditioning unit in the second room we stayed in (different stays) was not working well, although the stay was comfortable. The shower design does not include a shower door or curtain, which made it challenging to keep the water from splashing onto the bathroom floor.
