Being right on the beach and across the street from restaurants and shopping as we only have the breakfast included in our stay.
The BBQ nights were nice as it was served with a great view of the ocean and you just bill to your room.

This is a 3 star hotel but is kept very well by the owner and staff. Very clean. Excellent staff. Restaurant and pool are very good.

This place is quiet, charming, slightly funky, right on a long beach. Seems to attract mainly Mexican visitors, there were very few non-Mexicans during our stay and they were of the non-ugly tourist type, which was more than fine with us! The staff were sweet, helpful, and always smiling. It helps to be able to speak some Spanish — English is in short supply here (again, no es una problema, as far as we're concerned)! We had dinner at the place next door, which was fun. Breakfast at Villas Punta Blanca was uber-Mexican and delicious. The juices (think quasi-smoothie) were large and absolutely delicious. Be aware that when it comes to food, the portions are LARGE! If you're looking for a place that's resort-modern, Euro-pristine, near some man-made action, move on to Ixtapa. But if you're into some tranquility, if you're looking for a place that reminds you in multiple, charming ways, that you're in Mexico, a place with nice pools and hot tub, lovely chaise lounges and palapas right on an endless beach, we highly recommend Villas Punta Blanca.

I love this hotel! Especially the staff was super-friendly and helpful. It was the second time I stayed here. I loved being able to step out of my room directly into the pool area. It's just a walk of a few minutes to Playa La Ropa which is my favorite beach in the area. The staff even gave me an individual refrigerator for my room! Daily cleaning was awesome! I will definitely come back.

The hotel is in an excellent location right on Playa Ropa and walking distance to town. There is a restaurant/bar connected to the hotel directly on the beach. Beach chairs are plentiful and towels were provided by the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The property was close enough to the playa madera beach to walk to in less than 5 minutes. Also can walk to playa ropa in about 15 minutes. It is also close to the center of town for finding places to eat.
The little apartment is spacious and very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. Couldn’t ask for much more.
