In the heart of Cancun, a short walk from popular sites, this hotel provides free shuttle service to the beach along with on-site dining options and many modern amenities.

I first stayed in this hotel for 20 days and then extended it for another 8 days. This hotel is a wonderful, quiet family hotel where the breakfast is very delicious. The staff is very friendly and it is a very quiet hotel. Maybe this is one of the nicest hotels in this area and maybe in the city. When I left early in the morning, I forgot my bag with personal documents and money at the entrance. I came back and everything was put away and taken care of. Thank you to everyone working in this hotel. See you soon.

Only 10 minutes’ walk from Boulevard Kukulkan, Suites Malecon Cancun features panoramic views of Cancun city and Nichupté Lagoon. The property is in the same location as Américas Shopping Mall.

Staff was a bit unfriendly, we knew that a deposit was required but not that it was only with cash. We didn’t have any so we were asked to go to a bank to withdraw 1000 pesos for the deposit instead of simply using our credit card like rentals usually do. The next day they gave it back without even checking the room so that all policy and attitude was absolutely for nothing. The room itself had construction debris and dirt inside and outside. we had to clean the bath by ourselves before being able to use it. Very surprising. Aside from that, the bed was comfortable and we appreciated having a fridge and some plates and cutlery. The access to the mall was also convenient.

This hotel has seen better days. The facilities are very old and not taken care of. The shower & bathroom was awful and the ceilings had mold on them. Staff was fine, location fine, we stayed only one night and were very happy to leave.

Everything was great. Just what we needed for our last night of our holiday in Mexico and Cuba. It is just 10 minutes from the airport in the hotel minibus which is complimentary. There is a restaurant and bar on site also. 24 hour room service which was great as we were very tired. There is also a large shopping plaza opposite the hotel. The room, the bed, the staff were all fantastic. Highly recommend.

Our first hotel stay in Mexico, so we have no other hotels to compare at this early stage. The location was in easy walking distance to shopping, eating and transport places. The staff were very helpful. There was no tea or coffee facilities or a fridge in the room. ( but an iron and board)This could be the norm for this level of hotel. Not many English speaking staff members but they were happy to work with you. We did not try the pool, but it looked OK.

MayaFair Design Hotel is located in the heart of of Cancun's Hotel Zone. It is close to many bars, restaurants and attractions and offers contemporary suites with free Wi-Fi.

The location is very good and for the price can't beat that, also the staff are so polite and helpful people friendly I have been to this hotel before and I will never stop returning

    We stayed on Riveria Maya at an all inclusive hotel and did not like it. We didn't really visit the city at all. Skip Cancun, too much like America, go instead to Valladolid for real Mexican flavor

    So much to do in Cancun, I have to keep coming back to do all the stuff I wanted. Rent a car and drive all over, we of course visited Chichen-Itza, swam in cenotes, drove to Playa del Carmen and Tulum. Isla Mujeres is very beautiful and fun, where you can swim with sharks, ride jetski and so on! Next time other than enjoying the beaches, we want to visit Isla Holbox, Bacalar and Xcaret Park.

    Cancun is the place if you look for fun parties, nice beaches, good restaurants and hotels. Special remarks to the night clubs, where you can have different experiences. You should only keep in mind that it is not as cheap as other parts of Mexico, as it is done for tourists. But in the end you will have a lot of things to do and enjoy there.

    For me, it had become too touristy and prone to swindles.All the Maya sites I visited were overpriced. There were "re sellers" , people who hiked up the prices, who looked official but were not .In one place my credit card "didn't work", they demanded cash. When I walked away as I didn't have the cash, miraculously, a machine was found that would take my credit card. It's a shame as the place is fascinating.! If possible, especially if you can speak the language, ask the locals for places THEY would recommend.

    I loved the local restaurants @ Playa de Ninõ!! Fresh fish daily from the fisherman!! Easy to get around by buses & Uber!! All Ritmo is 50/50 hotel-condo rental!! It also has a waterpark for kids!! It's a quiet area compared to hotel area!! People, workers all fantastic!! There is many shopping like, Walmart,Costco,Chedraui & Soriana for food!! Hotel also offers buffet packages!!

    It's a bit like Vegas on the beach . . . if you're staying...

    It's a bit like Vegas on the beach . . . if you're staying at a nice hotel and are there for a beach vacation, it's great. No need to rent a car, as Uber is available and inexpensive. There is an entertainment district, if you're looking for a show or night club. Lots of restaurants to sample. (I would avoid the big touristy ones, like Porfirios, unless you're more interested in ambience than great Mexican food.)

    What a fantastic start to my first trip to Mexico. A real oasis in downtown Cancun, just a few minutes walk to the Parque de las Palapas, many restaurants, bars and R1 bus stop to beaches and hotel zone. Also just a 10 min walk to the ADO bus station. Monica, Eric and Alberto were absolutely lovely hosts. The breakfast was also a highlight … freshly prepared and served in the delightful poolside garden area. I will recommend to friends and family without hesitation!

    Perfect stay when you have an early flight out of Cancun airport. The City Express hotel is located close to the Cancun airport, in more of an industrial area so not many restaurants etc. nearby. The hotel is basic but perfect for a one night stay and includes breakfast (left too early to try) a shuttle ride to the airport, and a decent sized swimming pool. Bonus points to the front desk staff who were very lovely.

    If you have an afternoon arrival at the airport and are traveling Yucatán this hotel is a great venue to stay overnight and start your holiday the next day rested and ready. Good beds, friendly staff, safe parking area and just outside of Cancun but only 6km from the airport. you don’t hear the airplanes at all by the way.
