The host is very accommodable and helpful throughout the stay. Even recommended beautiful place to go for activities. The kitchen is in complete set. Have stove, rice cooker, water heater, fridge. And fridge also have many drinking water. There's tv with free netflix yo enjoy throughout the stay. The water pressure is low but there's water pump to accommodate that. Overall, a recommendable stay!

The cleanest state in Malaysia thus far.
The cleanest state in Malaysia thus far. Every house and every commercial entity has a green bin. Hardly see litter strewn about. A very green state with lots of nature to go to. Enjoy the long drives into hills. But do check ahead when visiting places of interests as they may be closed. We had the thrill of just driving up to the Thai borders. The Wang Kelian View Point is a MUST - by far the best view. Good choice of food at the jetty for ferry to Langkawi. If you're in Langkawi, the ferry ride is just a few minutes.

Kuala Perlis: A Vibrant Coastal Getaway with Room for Improvement
Kuala Perlis stands out as a lively and happening destination, offering more attractions and activities compared to Kuala Kedah. It’s an excellent spot for short holidays, especially for those who enjoy sightseeing, beaches, angling, and indulging in fresh seafood. The town is renowned for its fishing heritage, with numerous restaurants serving delicious seafood dishes like ikan bakar and laksa at affordable prices.
Nature lovers will appreciate the scenic views of mangroves, the iconic Masjid Al-Hussain (the “Floating Mosque”), and nearby attractions such as Perlis State Park. The area also serves as a gateway to Langkawi and Thailand, making it a strategic stop for travelers.
However, the accommodation options could be improved. While there are basic hotels available, upgrading the quality of lodging would enhance the overall experience for visitors. Despite this, Kuala Perlis remains a charming destination with plenty to offer for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

A few places we had to skip to catch our time. but most time we spend on Wang Kelian and Gua Kelam. It's rainy and cloudy during our trip. Cool for those who love history and adventure. Ikan Bakar Api-Api the most recommended restaurant.

Kuala Perlis is by the Straits of Malacca.
Kuala Perlis is by the Straits of Malacca. It's just a fishing-coastal town. As Langkawi and the Satun Islands become more of a tourist hop, this coastal city has been booming relatively at a constant pace. The number 1 business in the city is of course tourism but its also a gem for Perlis residents to enjoy its diverse array of seafood and sea products. Of course, cities in Perlis are relatively small, neighbourly, and simple but if any of its residents thought of just hanging out, there's just an eighty-minute ferry ride to Langkawi. Additionally, there's Alor Setar, Kedah that seats just an hour or an hour and a half from Perlis cities.

Kuala Perlis isn’t really a place to visit, we were just staying overnight to get the morning ferry to Langkawi. The hotel was 5mins from the ferry however it was just slightly away from main hussle and bustle so was convenient but also quiet. Hotel was cheap but still a good standard for what you paid.
Actually i did not ask more for just boutique hotel especially it is in just small town like Kuala Perlis. But this hotel beyond my expectation. Congrats.
