The restaurant offered a good range of food. The oysters are good, as you would expect here.
Breakfast was pleasant with enough range to be ok.

Delicious breakfast with super friendly waitresses! The breakfast hall is really nice. It was a former Restaurant. Don’t get confused by the wild horse restaurant opening time on the guesthouse wall. It just opens for breakfast, not for lunch or dinner. The rooms are cosy, but if you have a neighbour you can hear him/her snoring or vice versa. Beds were really comfortable and bath was very clean. The check-in person was polite. Can recommend the guesthouse.

Lovely town to visit, but hoped to see more of the town, was only there for a day before we headed off to Windhoek. Seafood was fresh not what we find in Gauteng and the people was very helpful, thanx for a great stay!

We enjoyed our visit to Kolmanskop - definitely worth seeing and the very good tour guide really made the place come alive in our imaginations. We enjoyed an excellent Christmas lunch at the Nest Hotel and just walking around enjoying the interesting architecture. As we arrived on Christmas Day and left on 27 December, the town was very quiet but we still enjoyed the atmosphere.

The Kolmanskop ghost town outside of town is a must.
The Kolmanskop ghost town outside of town is a must. Visiting the peninsula also good. Portuguese fisherman is good restaurant. We were there in a power blackout but they still managed to give us a fine dinner.

Lüderitz is a beautiful old harbour town with plenty to do and see. We ate at the Portugese Fisherman restaurant and Essenzeit during our time there, both of which offered diverse menus. With the small town you can easily park your car in a central location and walk to all iconic spots, excluding the famous ghost town, Kolmanskoppe.
Next time we would like to visit Barrel's, a pub that looks great from the outside at least and apparently offers great Eisbein.
The wedding we attended was held at the Nest Hotel. The overal feel was wonderful and the decor done beautifully.
My only concern was the lack of gluten free options at the restaurants, but that wasn't surprising for such a remote location.

We only were able to spend two nights here but we could have stayed longer. There’s some lovely old buildings to see and photograph in the shopping main area. We visited Kolmamskopp, an abandoned town and Agate beach where you can see flamingos on the lagoon. There’s a couple of good supermarkets for restocking if you’re in a camper.

Luderitz was a gem of history, the most beautiful old buildings in town, and amaizing sunset views over the bay. Kolmanskop, just outside of town, is a must to visit. There is really nothing of Luderitz , that we did not like.

It was a great stay. The rooms were clean, small though. We reached Luderitz on Saturday evening and Luderitz was closed on Sunday, so we really enjoyed our stay at the guest rooms. The host Eugene was very helpful and welcoming. He also helped us book the cruise and also advised us regarding Kolmanskop. (It is only open till 1300 hrs on Sundays.)
Perfect accomodation for visiting Luderitz. Everything was clean, the service was friendly and the location is very quiet. Highlight is the view over the ocean which you can see from the bed and balcony.
This is a little jewel in Luderitz....
Has everything you need and exceeded our expectations..... the magic view of the bay from your own private balcony... in our memory forever. Well done to the team.
This was a nice place for a couple of days in Luderitz. The owner was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and we had a lovely view over the little town.
