A beautiful morden hotel with Nigerian decor. The hotel was spotless, the staff were very efficient, polite and friendly.
We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every morning. There was a choice of either Nigeria, English or American breakfast. Ebony life place which is attached to the hotel is a lovely place to relax. We had dinner at Jinja restaurant and enjoyed Karaoke night. We also had a meal at Turaka restaurant on the roof top which had a beautiful view. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely stay at the White Orchid hotel on my next visit to Lagos.

Lagos does not offer a great deal of tourism information, but I fortunately had friends that lived in Victoria Island. They organized a driver for us to use, which was definitely needed. We loved our time in Lagos, but not easy to get around without a driver. I recommend going to Nike art gallery (amazing), Lekki Market, Tarkwa Bay, and Makoko Water Village. The bridge was being worked on- so that option was not available to us. We also went to a the National Museum which was quite informative and worth the visit.

I loved Lagos!
I loved Lagos! The people are the warmest I have met in 85 countries. The music, theater art and food scene is unparralled! Uber was easy to use. Traffic is very bad. Great meals at Terra Kulture. Great Time and food at Bolivar. Nike Gallery is exceptional. And the textiles… I had an entire new wardrobe made very reasonably. Okinan House Love Lagos is a MUST

I liked that the Chef insisted on making an authentic and great version of the classic Nigerian breakfast dish that was awful.
I didn't feel the usual cozy luxury I normally got in the hotel.
I would rate the hotel maximum 2.5 stars and that's being generous.

The city is beautiful to stay in if you are restricted to Victoria Island. Going to the mainland would require security.
Regarding food, it had some great Indian restaurants like Spice Route and Mantra (in Cumberland Hotel). I would recommend Mantra Restaurant to everyone if you like good Indian food.
It is beneficial if you have already planned a guy to take you around the city for your visit.

Beautiful furnishing great, spacious areas, security arrangements to the property and estate is also top notch.
Good services rendered by hospitable staff.
Communication with the staff and response time was good.
There were a number of 'hiccups' but after communicating this, the issues were resolved either during the stay or plans were made for repairs.
Wonderful location in Lagos, close to restaurants, grocery stores and in close proximity to the airport.
All in all, it was a lovely and recommendable stay.
The lift was off for hours and no one had informed me. The iron and hair dryer was provided after many calls. The intercom in the room was not working either. I was moved to their sister hotel without prior notice. The food was expensive but not good. The hair dryer provided was stuck into a three-pin socket whereas it was a two-pin plug, this is dangerous and unexpected from a hotel that charges such high rates. Overall, probably not staying there any more.
this is one of my best hotel I have stayed so far in Lagos, the hotel environment is so clean and the location is just perfect..
the porter guys are so welcoming including the 2 guys and the dark lady at the reception They are awesome. the pool and roof top is topnotch thou i didnt get to chill out there because of my short stay...i will visit again..
The lobby and the staff at the Lagos Marriot Hotel Ikeja are the wow factor.
The staff are incredibly courteous especially the housekeeping team. A real customer oriented team. They always provided fresh towels before you asked which was really convenient. The bar in the lobby area was also lovely especially for a nice cup of tea and muffins.
Great hotel, felt like an oasis in the middle of Lagos, had everything you needed and was so comfortable, first place I was able to sleep in Nigeria, was so peaceful. Good gym although one of the 2 treadmills didnt work so sometimes had to wait but nice to have gym and pool. I was a female and felt very safe there
