Interesting hotel in an old dutch-style building. Location is very good. The bed was really comfortable, and both the room and bathrooms were spacious.

The location is fantastic and worth the downsides. The beds were comfortable. Good breakfast buffet. Noise from the square was not a problem. Despite a streaming handset nothing worked and Staff had no idea. No heating control in the room just a central thermostat. Our room had no opening window. Very expensive for the standard of the room

Everything was perfect. Only stairway up to rooms is very narrow so could be difficult for someone with limited mobility or heavy, cumbersome luggage.
Featuring a music theme, Hampshire Hotel – Delft Centre is located on the edge of the Delft's centre, at walking distance from all major tourist attractions.

Good service, nice beds, free TV and heating, nice shower.
Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.
Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.
Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.
The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 40 minutes away by car or public transport. Delft railway station has train connections to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Leiden.

Lovely and quiet, lovely restaurants, shops, Vermeer museum. People welcoming. Easy to get to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Weather rainy but bright some days, milder than the UK. Not too expensive, cheaper than the UK. Nice Cafe culture

City with a relaxed vibe in the historical center.
City with a relaxed vibe in the historical center. We spent there 2 days, but there are things to do for more days. We were lucky with a good sunny weather at the end of January, and consider to go back to Delf during the summer time. Streets on the historical center are full with lovely cafes, terraces and shops. There are three big music stores, full with vinyl, CDs and DVDs, for instance. Museums are also nice, if one has interest in art & history.

Our favourite city in the Netherlands!
Our favourite city in the Netherlands! Much nicer place to stay than Amsterdam. People super friendly, extremely quaint, quiet, fairy tale looking place, felt wonderfully safe to walk around even at night. Lots of cosy looking friendly pubs and restaurants. It was amazing to be able to chat to proper Dutch locals, which made it a much more fun city to visit than other places swamped with tourists. Hopefully it never changes!

Delft is like a miniature version of Amsterdam but without the crowds of tourists and a 'red light district' Its small enough to get round without needing either hiking boots or to take a tram everywhere. If you feel the need to see the 'the girl with the pearl earring' Den Haag is less than 20mins by train and a bit longer if you take the tram.

Delft was a wonderful place to visit!
Delft was a wonderful place to visit! It was a great walking city with many restaurants near the hotel which was also close to the train station and tram stop. If you want good risjttafel visit Redjeki, and we loved Cafe Peruviana, and also Het Konings Huys on the market square. Delft also made a great central location to make day trips to other small towns such as Den Haag, Haarlem, and Rotterdam.

Great location.
Great location. The room quality was average and not worth the price. The main bathroom light was not working, and the bed had two separate mattresses joined together to make a double bed which wasn't ideal. Decent play to stay if the objective is to just crash for one night, but the price of this room (apparently called a deluxe room) should be lower.

I have visited before. So glad to come back. I love the symbol and design that nurtures the Dutch and Chinese relationship. Overall the hotel is still run to high standards. It was opened by a Chinese company in 2011.
Don’t be misled by its situation. At the back is the Delft countryside in easy walking distance. And centrum is under 5 minutes by cycle.
There is a very popular Chinese restaurant in the hotel.
Was clean, quiet and comfortable. We traveled to Delft from the Uk for a friends wedding and this hotel was located perfectly to allow us to walk to the wedding as well as explore Delft on the other days. Lots of lovely restaurants opposite the hotel so was perfect to go out for dinner with a baby.
