very clean, comfortable and with accommodating staff. No problem with special food requests. Great care taken on the details and finishes in the room- fresh fruit, water available and some toys for the kids. They can also play in the little courtyard. Bar and restaurant are also really nice. Recommended 👍

Location & look of hotel is great, including rhe sidewalk cafe. Breakfast was very good with friendly staff and the food & drinks were all refilled on time which was nice. Breads, fruits, meats, cheeses, all was fjne at breakfast. We found paid street parking near hotel, Sunday free parking. We had room in very nearby buiding.. No lift, not a problem, but 4th floor room could be problem for some. Good beds and good nights sleep. Room was clean but a bit cold, but very good quality wool blankets were in the closet!

It’s a beautiful old building with lots of history, greeted by Elise, feels very welcoming. Decor is awesome, all the rooms and shared spaces are decorated very tastefully and cozy. Great style, cozy, some modern touches but always with a hint of the past. Facilities are great, we stayed in a room in the attic. Which was already remodeled. It’s pretty well insulated against the cold (or heat, we stayed in the winter) from outside.

It's an amazing apartment in a very convenient location. It's right in the middle of town, less than a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Our host was great! She made sure there was a loaf of Frisian sugar bread there, plenty of coffee, and some other snacks. The beds are comfortable and the space is pretty large with cozy seating areas. There's a pretty large kitchen in there so you can do your own cooking if you want to. I'd definitely strongly recommend this apartment for a stay in Dokkum!
