Very cozy stay at a very nice place in Elsloo. Friendly staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, easy parking on the street just outside the hotel (free), convenient location (15-20-minute drive from Maastricht). I would highly recommend it.

Vaeshartelt is a beautiful little palace. But not too little. Very French 1800 architecture. The grounds are breathtaking taking.

All was good. Breakfast, room, staff. Close to the road. Comfortable parking. Definitely the best hotel in a case price/location in this region.

So this hotel is really all about the character of the building and the haute cuisine of its restaurant; plus its immersion within beautiful nature. The restaurant makes it an expensive stay, but it is a quality choice.

The owners are genuinely warm, kind and friendly! And they prepare the nicest breakfast ever (they prepare it themselves)! I felt very relaxed and at home and I slept like a baby - thumbs up for the comfy beds. The location is also great, if you have a car there are many pretty sites close by. And the old village of Elsloo is very charming!
I do not recommend this hotel! Before booking, please make sure there isn’t a wedding taking place! The hotel informed me just one day before my stay that there would be a wedding, leaving me no opportunity to find another place. It was extremely loud, and I couldn’t sleep at all! I had to drive back to the UK very tired.
Interesting property in lovely old neighbourhood of Elsloo, in beautiful grounds with woods and lake. Good location for canal-path bike ride into Maastricht. Friendly staff and really superb food in the restaurant.
