Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! A beautiful small oasis full of warmth and care. Hari and his family are wonderful hosts and the property is so cozy and comfortable. Amazing jungle walks, jeep rides, yoga classes, sunsets, traditional dancing. We saw so many animals too. We are a couple in our 50s and had so much fun. Our fellow guests were 20-30s but were so warm and welcoming and the whole experience was so great, a definite highlight of our 2 month trip. Thank you Hari. Superb.

Best experience ever! This is by far the best stop we’ve had so far in Nepal. Not only the jungle is breathtaking but the barahi jungle lodge takes such good care of you. Every single member of the staff is the kindest and sweetest person! All guides are super knowledgeable about the wildlife but even Nepali culture and truly keen to share their knowledge with you. Shout out to our guide Sagar who has made every single safari a once in a lifetime experience. Morning trips (boat tour and jeep) were the best, but they’re all totally worth it. If you have some extra time, make use of the spa! Prakash Chand, the hotel manager has made sure to tailor the perfect package for us and the duration of our stay. It was the perfect mix between adventure and relaxing! In between the safaris, you get some time to lay back and enjoy the great food - Tej Thanait makes sure of it! As another bonus: the hotel is environmentally conscious and takes care of its community. Totally can recommend and would urge you to book this amazing experience!!

The ultimate place to relax and safari. I stayed here for three days / nights after 10 hectic days in Kathmandu and it was so lovely. From the minute you arrive to the minute you depart you are very well looked after by all the staff at the hotel. I stayed in a villa which was incredibly spacious and great value for money. The safari was great, I did a full day and half day with Tulsi as my guide who was extremely knowledgable. On the safari we saw Rhinos very close up to the Jeep, monkeys, and elephants. Highly recommended having a couple of hours relaxing by the pool when you arrive to really get you in the zone. Great place to stay and would recommend to anyone.
