the staff were extremely helpful and accomodating of our large family group and everything they organised was with care and good advice given that we had a number of small chiuldren. lovely safe space for the children when we weren't out and about. Lovely resort with the absolute best service. The staff are wonderful and bend over backwards to meet your every need. I genuinely have never experienced that level of commitment to service. We had a wonderful full day jeep safari tour with Gopal, the nature guide who did everything he could together with a fantastic driver, to make sure we saw as many special animals as possible. It was a great day out in the jungle which I’d surely book again from the hotel. We even had a super deluxe picnic with all sorts of food from the hotel in the middle of the park. Great property, even better people.

We liked everything about the National Park Hotel, it really has no bad points. Friendly and helpful wherever possible. We had the best food and the best guides. We saw absolutely everything but tiger. The food was bettere than any we saw in town. Comfortable bed and loads of hot water. There are paddy fields around that attract lots of birds.

    We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

    Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

    Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself. Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

    Our one-night escape at Motherland Resort in Sauraha was simply exceptional. The standout dinner, pristine cleanliness, and the added bonus of a beautiful swimming pool made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

    July and august are not tourist season in Nepal That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

    Amazing experience.

    Amazing experience. It was really what you expect in a Lodge surrounded by nature. All the atmosphere is really familiar and relaxed. Thanks to Mr Deepak, it was really helpful to organise our Safari day and to arrange the transportation with the taxi and bus tickets. The food was delicious and prepared at the moment. The perfect place if you want a little bit of tranquility.

    My stay at Chitwan Village Resort was wonderful! The hotel is well located, near to the jungle were the safaris are made, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The place is just an oasis, I really enjoyed being surronded by nature all time. Besides, the service was excellent, the workers were very attentive and friendly. It exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, a place to return to!

    This hotel is perfect for accessing Chitwan national park and you feel really at home. The owner is very helpful, and organises fantastic safari tours via jeep and walking, with quality guides. The hotel goes out of its way to make you comfortable, and ensures you show up on time to all of your National Park activities. Amazing value for money, I would definitely stay here again!
