Looking out the big front window at the bay, the boats, the mountains, and the manicured front yard is spectacular. Very well equipped and thoughtful touches. Spotlessly clean. Easy access to the Queen Charlotte Track, the waterfront, and a reasonable drive to surrounding towns and attractions.
Overlooking the breathtaking Marlborough Sounds, we’re just moments from Waikawa Bay Marina, the ferry terminal, and Picton’s vibrant centre.

Good property within walkable distance to the town and the wharf. It would have been nice to have had a room on the sunny side of the hotel with a view of the sea but this was not possible.
The pool looked inviting.

The location was great, we were able to walk to most places. We loved the view from our room, there is always something to see. We had a meal at the restaurant as well, so handy being there, and very nice food. Our room was comfortable and well appointed.

Very friendly greeting, large spacious apartment, and a fantastic view. Although very dated the cleanliness didn't make it feel it. Highly recommend.

The hot tub was such an added bonus! The hostel is very central and very homey, which helps bring visitors together i the communal areas.

The beach is very safe and so refreshing on the hot day we were there.

It is a great place if you like walking and at the same time want to relax.
The break fast was excellent with amazing views whilst you eat.
It was possibly to drive to either Picton or Havelock for restaurants as well as arranging boat trips for fishing or sight seeing.
We saw many dolphins on a trip to the bird sanctuary.Their is a local pub where you can have a meal and meet the locals.
The only disadvantage if you wanted fine dinning then you had to drive to Picton which took thirty minutes.
