The reception staff upon check-in and check out were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean and was one of the few hotels in the area with complimentary parking. The food and beverage prices are very reasonable and the hotel is only a 5 minute drive to Spark Arena.
The chocolate chip pancakes in the buffet brekky were really good.

there were some spots of what may have been blood on the chair and on the floor in the room. we did not notice this until late in our stay (and forgot to tell staff at check out, sorry!). maybe could have done with pre-emptive info about the once in once out over 24 hours rule for validating parking in the next door parking garage

The amenities & facilities within the hotel were all amazing, especially the outdoor balcony. Not having to go all the way outside front & stand in the rain or cold like most hotels, to have a vape/smoke. Bonus from the outdoor balcony you could see the sky tower. Gym was well equipped and lots of space compared to others. Cafe had lots of yummy goodies and great coffee too. Great pool esp for families. The location of the toilets near the pools, very ideal and convenient to have. They had 2 entrances out with lots of pool towels/ showers to use. Awesome sauna. One in each male & female toilet
The attentiveness and courtesy from the staff afterwards when one staff was not very polite in the beginning of my checkin

Awesome Queen room with amazing bed night lights, a TV to entertain myself or keep me company, a phone to ring reception if I needed anything, a fan to keep me cool, fabulous shower and toiletries to use. A comfortable and relaxing Queen size bed - it was like Heaven! The location is surrounded by shops, but I enjoyed staying in the room. My highlight was the Restaurant to have a quick pre-dinner ($16 burger & chips) and a $20 continental breakfast (hash bites, baked beans, scrambled eggs, bacon (wish they had the sautéed mushrooms instead of the sautéed vegetables) and weetbix with yoghurt and fresh fruit) in the morning with glasses of Apple juice. Staff were very kind, caring, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Book in early to get a car park because there's limited space.

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sporting events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of the Viaduct Harbour.
Another must-see is the tallest free-standing tower in the Southern Hemisphere, the Sky Tower. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can even perform the Sky Jump, a controlled base jump from 192 metres!
Climbing the volcanic cones as well as the stunning Auckland Harbour Bridge will provide unforgettable, panoramic views of the city’s skyline. For a different perspective, why not try a cruise or sea kayaking?

Britomart Train station staff very helpfull, went for a train ride to kill time, all good.
Shame about all the homeless folk in the street, not a good look for International visitors unless they experience the same in their own country.
The "Brit" pub & eatery is great, second time there and excellent food and beers, well recommended, located on a corner in Britomart.

A very brief time to see our son who was in Auckland for work. Our stay was only overnight and we had travelled from taupo. However, on saying that we spent time in Auckland in 2023 for sometime when our grandson was in Starship, and apart from him being so ill, we did see a few of the sites and liked what we saw.

We spent three days in Auckland.
We spent three days in Auckland. Walkable restaurants and shops all around. Beautiful weather in March. Our rental car was necessary for the trek we planned to the south but parking was easy just about everywhere. Fun nightlife, bars, cafes, etc. History museum was so interesting with the artifacts from the Maori. We SHOULD HAVE stayed overnight and done a second day on Waiheke island.

the city center is really accessible, you can do nearly everything by walking
most of the restaurants are Asians, and it's okay
there is not a lot of things to do for free, must of the activities are between 15-30$, like museums but it can be more expensive for some specific ones, like Sky walking, ferry trips...
the public transports are a bit messy but understandable

Auckland seems to offer much more of what we have already seen. And we want to come back to have the opportunity to enjoy more of the city. Skytower is a must-visit, and the experience of having a meal up there is unforgettable. The Auckland Museum has so many things to see that we could have easily spent a full day inside. And we also want to come back to enjoy more. We will reserve more days to Auckland in our - hopefully - next trip to New Zealand.

Auckland is a great city to explore on foot with many interesting museums and shops. I enjoyed exploring the waterfront area and had a very interesting tour there. I enjoyed the different types of restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines. It was good to explore the Weta Workshop experience to see the techniques that they use for movie making.

Quality products throughout, including sound proofing, make for a restful and relaxing stay.
As an overnight luxurious experience prior to an international flight, I would highly recommend treating yourself.
This was a last minute booking as we decided to collect a car from the airport and we needed a hotel with parking. We arrived late and left early but our room was comfortable with views over the park and it was only a 5 minute drive from downtown Auckland. The staff were friendly and it was quiet
ibis Budget Auckland Airport was what I needed to pick my mum up as she was travelling in to NZ. It was close to the airport and the reception was manned 24/7 - really convenient. The Hotel transfer buses from the airport stop just outside the hotel as well.
