It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Spacious, quiet, comfy bed, great bathroom/shower, clean... really couldn't find any faults. Even the doors were somewhat of a soft close, a detail I loved as slamming hotel doors are a big pet peeve of mine. Wish I could stay here all the time!

The hotel is nicely quiet and the rooms very comfortable. It's a little out of the center--don't book here if you're not up for a 15-minute walk to the ferry building--but that's why it's quiet, which we really appreciated. Parking was relatively easy, in the adjoining (paid) parking garage. The attached coffee shop and market next door were really convenient, and the fish market area nearby is quite charming for a laid-back meal or drink.
The only drawback for us was that we were there for four nights and our room was never cleaned. We were informed, going in, that the rooms are cleaned once every three days, and we had zero problem with that, but in four nights, you'd think we would have gotten one cleaning. That was a disappointment.

Auckland is a real cultural mix with strong Asian, European, Maori and Polynesian influences, celebrated in frequent festivals and sports events. Some examples of these cultures can be seen at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, one of the best in New Zealand. For more, try the upmarket dining of Viaduct Harbour.

Britomart Train station staff very helpfull, went for a train ride to kill time, all good.
Shame about all the homeless folk in the street, not a good look for International visitors unless they experience the same in their own country.
The "Brit" pub & eatery is great, second time there and excellent food and beers, well recommended, located on a corner in Britomart.

A very brief time to see our son who was in Auckland for work. Our stay was only overnight and we had travelled from taupo. However, on saying that we spent time in Auckland in 2023 for sometime when our grandson was in Starship, and apart from him being so ill, we did see a few of the sites and liked what we saw.

We spent three days in Auckland.
We spent three days in Auckland. Walkable restaurants and shops all around. Beautiful weather in March. Our rental car was necessary for the trek we planned to the south but parking was easy just about everywhere. Fun nightlife, bars, cafes, etc. History museum was so interesting with the artifacts from the Maori. We SHOULD HAVE stayed overnight and done a second day on Waiheke island.

the city center is really accessible, you can do nearly everything by walking
most of the restaurants are Asians, and it's okay
there is not a lot of things to do for free, must of the activities are between 15-30$, like museums but it can be more expensive for some specific ones, like Sky walking, ferry trips...
the public transports are a bit messy but understandable

Auckland seems to offer much more of what we have already seen. And we want to come back to have the opportunity to enjoy more of the city. Skytower is a must-visit, and the experience of having a meal up there is unforgettable. The Auckland Museum has so many things to see that we could have easily spent a full day inside. And we also want to come back to enjoy more. We will reserve more days to Auckland in our - hopefully - next trip to New Zealand.

Auckland is a great city to explore on foot with many interesting museums and shops. I enjoyed exploring the waterfront area and had a very interesting tour there. I enjoyed the different types of restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines. It was good to explore the Weta Workshop experience to see the techniques that they use for movie making.

Quality products throughout, including sound proofing, make for a restful and relaxing stay.
As an overnight luxurious experience prior to an international flight, I would highly recommend treating yourself.
This was a last minute booking as we decided to collect a car from the airport and we needed a hotel with parking. We arrived late and left early but our room was comfortable with views over the park and it was only a 5 minute drive from downtown Auckland. The staff were friendly and it was quiet
ibis Budget Auckland Airport was what I needed to pick my mum up as she was travelling in to NZ. It was close to the airport and the reception was manned 24/7 - really convenient. The Hotel transfer buses from the airport stop just outside the hotel as well.
