The staff are so lovely and friendly. The food in the restaurant for dinner was really good although we felt the menu was a little limited.

Kauri Lodge is a fairly typical motel, with spacious reasonably well equiped rooms. It is in a very good location adjacent to the main Kaitaia shopping street. The main feature to call out is that the person we dealt with could not have been more helpful - this makes a real dsifference and we would stay again.

The location - perfect, private, peaceful and serene! One could spend a week there to truly appreciate this piece of paradise. Certainly not one night like we had! The accommodation and amenities were of a good standard. Beds were comfortable with attention to detail and presentation.
