We had a wonderful 3-night stay at The Rocks Chalets. The chalet was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely outdoor area to relax in. The location is good—quiet yet conveniently close to some great walks. One of the highlights of our stay was seeing a stunning starling murmuration, an unexpected and mesmerising treat. Another memorable moment was visiting the little cave on-site at night. The entrance is lit with charming fairy lights, and inside we some glowworms!

Location, clean, roomy, felt like a little home with everything we needed. Nice outdoor area. It wasn't far to the beach at all and it was great getting takeaways from Takaka and eating them on the beach.

Perfect base to explore Golden Bay. Accommodation was clean, spacious and adequately supplied. Hosts are very knowledgeable about the area and are happy to recommend walking tracks and places of interest. I'd happily stay again.

This place is simply MAGICAL. We couldn't have dreamed of a better stay. What you've created here is a peace of heaven. We are fortunate to have experenced these moments.
