Located next to McDonald's and only a 1-minute walk from the Ongarue River, shops and restuarants, Kelly's Motel offers rooms with a fully equipped kitchen.

A great location next to the river (as you'd expect by the name). The accommodation was a divided cottage with separate bedrooms and fully functioning kitchen, which was a nice change from the usual studio style motel accommodation. The staff changed our allocated accomodation on arrival, on their own initiative, to better meet our needs. It is very close to Forgotten World Adventures, which was our reason for being there. A big supermarket almost next door (New World), although we did get tripped up by country town shopping hours. A short walk up the main street to restaurants and cafes (we recommend Jasmine's Cafe and Thai Restaurant). Quiet, clean, and comfortable.
