Room superb, breakfast poor and very expensive. I would not eat there again. Awful coffee, powdered eggs, unbelievably bad for $35 each.

Tauranga itself is a pretty, vibrant city with many attractions. We didn’t have nearly long enough to explore all that we wanted to see and could have planned better for seeing everything. We had day trips to Hobbiton and Rotorua. We would have been better staying closer to them but still having more time in Tauranga.
Definitely visit Mauao Historic Reserve.

Non-existent parking in town if you arrive after the bars open. Poorly planned city with just eateries, bars, 2 dollar shops and for lease signs. A truly badly planned city with little concern for visitors or retailers. A must miss city.

It's a beautiful city with so many hidden gems like McLaren Falls, glow worms and water activities. There are lots of Keebab Shops which offers Turkish Pizza and Keebab on rice. There are internal city bus service that makes it convenient to move around and avoid traffic. It's a perfect location for kids and families as there are many picnic spots , kids friendly walks and water sports for kids to enjoy.

If you are not into fishing or going to the beach, and unable to do much walking, with the art gallery closed and a few shops closed on a Monday, not a lot to do. Mt Maunganui still a treat even with the weekend crowds. Plenty of options for eating out. Next time i plan to book some ebikes.

We were a group of 11 spread out into 5 rooms. Staff is very lovely and accomodating and was able to put us in rooms close to each other. Rooms and corridors are very clean. All rooms are well equiped with laundry area and kitchen. Hotel is conveniently located next to the shops so it is easy to just walk to find a place to eat. We enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend this place.
To answern i had to fill in false answers to give the actual. Our stay in tauranga ended up being very nice because we found d another hotel. This was due to the fact that we turned up and were told there were no rooms at all available and should have never been given the reservation by booking .Com.
Nice staff, room was adequately sized, no issues with noise at all - patrons were respectful. Great location for things at the Tauranga domain and not far to the Mount. Decently sized fidge, kettle and microwave in our room was great.
Good size house with plenty of room. The property is cheap compared to others but with that you have to be prepared for the facility offering a cheap rate standard are not going to be high.
Nice and clean, quick check in and cheap parking. Room was bigger than expected so good value for money! The bathroom is nice and big as well, decent sized shower and big spa bath.
