Oh my gosh, the property was AMAZING. The 360 glass units were so cool and having a view of the desert on every side was really neat. The bed was also so comfortable!
The kitchen/common area tent was great to hang around as well, there was always water, tea, coffee, etc. Also SO much food for dinner and breakfast.

Went with my two friends to Al Sarmadi camp. Overall the location, staff were nice. The tent itself was pretty beautiful and very comfortable, still during the day it was quite hot and would have been nice to have some sort of fan at least to let the hot air move a bit. The washroom was clean and quite spacious. Now, was a little bit disappointed by the food, I do understand they don’t do a large quantity each night to not waste any, but especially the proteins, i wish I could have served myself a second time at least. (At dinner and breakfast).

The authentic look and feel of this experience was incredible. The host and his family were so welcoming and made us feel like we really experienced the desert. Unlike large camps where you feel like you are in a mass resort type setting this was so authentic, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

I wanted to love it but tbh it seems to be a bit faded. TV - didn’t work (not a big deal but sometimes it’s nice to watch a bit); phone system - not connected to the front desk so you have to walk down for anything. Sunset setup? 50 usd each for 3 minute ride up the mountain, take photos in a Sandstorm and eat a few samosa with tea. F&B - mid. Need more than 3 Nespresso capsules? Good luck. As the website seems down as well and no one answered any emails it feels like someone purchased the property or just gave up. Not a terrible experience but far from luxury.

Sands Dream Tourism Camp in Shāhiq provides accommodations with a garden and barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time.
Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !
