Our stay at Vista Mar Hotel in Bocas del Toro was a mix of experiences. While the hotel shows signs of age and rooms are quite small, the accommodations were comfortable enough for our 3 nights visit. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a good start to our days. The daily happy hour, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, featured $3 cocktails - among the piña coladas and daiquiris we thoroughly enjoyed. At nearly $100 per night, Vista Mar felt a bit pricey for what it offers, but the central waterfront location and friendly staff helped balance things out. Even though we had quite a bit of rain during our stay, we still enjoyed the laid-back vibe of the island.

The location of Hotel Paraiso was excellent literally 2 minute walk from the water taxi. The breakfast was good value for money. The receptionist was really friendly and professional. The waitresses were friendly and even on an exceptionally busy night did their best to accommodate orders. The restaurant serves tasty food and decor is contemporary.

Excellent location, middle in the jungle, you can see and here monkeys playing around. Clean and nice furnished dome. Great breakfast, you can choose from a menu. Easy and smooth communication via whatsapp regarding checkin instructions. The girl at the reception sent us a lot of recommendations for programs, bycicle renting and taxi driver numbers. She even arranged us a driver from the port when we checked in and one to the airport when we checked out. Really great place to stay.
