Considering how hot it was in other parts of Panama, Boquete was really very pleasant. There were enough grocery stores and restaurants to meet most needs. There is a stress on doing outdoors activities. We learned quickly that we were not in good enough condition to do most of them. I am 91 and my wife 84. The city has a modern and reasonably equipped library and a library-dedicated green-space that a visitor can spend some time at. I stayed in Boquete for four nights. It's a very pretty town at a higher elevation, so it's somewhat cooler. There are a lot of activities you can do, mine was to relax, mbecause I'm akways on the go! Cool little mountain town with delicious restaurants, friendly people, and gorgeous surroundings. We had a chocolate cooking class that was really well done at the Perfect Pair. Awesome dinners at Retrogusto, Big Daddy’s, Christopher’s, and Bluefin. There's alway something fun to do.
There's alway something fun to do. When you think you might run out of activities something new comes up. There are activities that suit those who are very adventurous and into extreme sports and those who want to have a relaxed time.
