The cabin was really close to the beach (1min by car, a few walking). Parking was plentiful. Everything is close. Room was quiet, aside from the howling monkeys next to it haha 😀 AC was really appreciated and worked well! Very comfortable stay. I especially loved frequent visits of hummingbirds that drank nectar from flowers that were right in front of the cabin :).

Great location near the beach, attentive staff at the restaurant, good beach music throughout the day. Clean comfortable bed. The room (triangle palm leaf roof style) is big enough, and I was aware beforehand that standing up is more or less limited to the center of the room.

Best beach ever, huge, no rocks, wonderful waves,no undertow.
So much fun, felt like a kid again, and we are in our mid seventies!
Staff could not have been better, - the manager Estoben, staff Manual, Eli, Aaron, Juliette etc, all exceptional. The restaurant and bar was very cool based around a big old style fishing boat. The food was very good. Very romantic setting at night under the multiple strings of lights made it like a movie setting.
Lots of places to lounge in the shade or under trees in their large wooden chaise lounges.
Saw howler monkeys in the trees. There are plenty of trails, one leading to a waterfall.

Dos Mares was the silver lining and shining star to our Panamá trip. The property, rooms and facilities are immaculate. Coffee every morning was a treat and conversation with Chiara (the property manager) was easy, informative, and helpful. After we left the property, we ended up coming back to eat a meal with her and her sweet friend who was visiting from Germany. My dad caught a couple fish so Chiara prepared us a beautiful meal. We should have never left and finished out our Panamá trip at Dos Mares!
