Offering breathtaking ocean views and an outdoor pool with direct beach access, Villa Condesa Del Mar is located on Contadora Island. Free WiFi is provided.

Super cute island where everyone drives around in a golf cart (highly recommend renting one for at least a day) to explore and just drive around. Picturesque postcards views. Check out Galleon beach for sunset, it’s spectacular. Great food and very comfortable beds/rooms. We celebrated a birthday and they even did a set up in the room which made us feel really special. We recommend!

Hibiscus House Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area of Contadora. Free Wi-Fi access and a hearty American-style breakfast are included.

Hibiscus House was the perfect home base for our island getaway. We looked at several other properties, but we are so glad we chose this one. Some of the others were larger, but they were in much busier areas. What we loved most here was the peace and quiet. Nicola was an outstanding host. She was warm, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. Her kindness and attentiveness added so much to our experience. Honestly, she alone makes this place worth staying at. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with excellent air conditioning, strong Wi-Fi, and reliable 4G cell service. During our stay, the mainland experienced a nationwide power outage that made international news. We had no idea anything had happened until friends back home contacted us to make sure we were okay. Contadora was completely unaffected, and everything at Hibiscus House kept running perfectly. That level of comfort and security meant a lot to us. We highly recommend Hibiscus House and Nicola. We would absolutely stay here again.

For a relaxing getaway with stunning views, El Remanso is the perfect choice. Our stay was magical, with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and a serene atmosphere. (The photos do not do it enough justice). I visited to celebrate my birthday, and to my delight, the team prepared a special surprise for me! A heartfelt thank you to Hanik and Ehran, who were exceptional hosts. Their warmth and attentiveness made our experience unforgettable, especially with the upgrade to a spectacular room and great activity recommendations. The hotel is beautiful, located by what we believe is the most pristine beach on the island. Our spacious room was well-equipped, and waking up to the ocean view was a highlight. The shared kitchen is a nice touch for meal prep. I recommend bringing food for breakfasts and snacks. You might consider packing items to make sandwiches and purchasing the spectacular baguette from La Choza, which is just a short walk from the hotel. Their food is fantastic! That said, don’t miss La Choza, a delightful restaurant run by Jean-Baptiste and Eli, offering delicious local cuisine in a cozy, welcoming setting. I also recommend exploring the trail between the beach at Saboga Lodge and La Choza beach. The path, surrounded by rocks, nature, and the ocean, truly makes you feel like you’re in a scene from Star Wars. If you decide to walk to find the 500-year-old tree, be sure to bring mosquito repellent, as it can be quite helpful. Good luck finding it—we weren’t able to locate it ourselves! Without a doubt, El Remanso is a hidden gem. We’re already dreaming of our next visit to this slice of paradise!
